Balls Mahoney v. Justin Credible

Credible's bumping looked super phony in this and Balls threw some shitty punches. The match itself was not bad and had some decent stuff, but nothing of real note.

Mikey Whipwreck v. Jerry Lynn

Really fast early with some fun spots, especially Mikey's sit down elbow drop to block a monkey flip attempt. Whipwreck sells and bumps really great for Lynn, including getting spiked on a headscissors and Lynn does the same for a backbreaker. They take turns tying each other up in knots on the mat. Mikey hits a great springboard rana on the floor, then a great flip dive over the barricade. Lynn makes his comeback cutting off Mikey on the top and hitting a really good looking rana. Lynn goes to the top and Mikey cuts him off and hits a really great looking superplex for a strong nearfall. Really great counter spot as Mikey goes for whippersnapper backing out of the corner and Lynn hits him with a Misawa level forearm to the face leading to a DDT for the finish. This was the perfect length, had a ton of big offense in it but was still well paced, and came across as a war. Really good match.

Lance Storm v. Chris Chetti

The bad news is that this is Chetti v. Storm. The good news is I watched this match on tv and don't have to watch it again.

Bubba Dudley v. Masato Tanaka

We have this on tv too and nothing new here.

Big brawl with Triple Threat and Taz/RVD/Sabu

FBI v. Blue Meanie/Super Nova

Sadly the Tommy Rich pre-match mic work is almost entirely unintelligible though it does get the crowd pissed. Opening fast exchange with Guido/Nova is good and builds to a good babyface double team spot and Tracy tagging in. Smothers does the dueling hand clap spot with Meanie and it's great here as the crowd chants "fuck you" to the rhythm of his clapping when he tries to get them going. Rich grabs the mic and starts denouncing the crowd for failing to get behind Tracy. They do the spot with the ref slamming Smothers and Guido, cept this team he also knocks Rich over and decks Jeff Jones who is also with the FBI as the personal ref of the Big Don. Nova hits his middle rope plancha onto Guido and Smothers but Rich ends up hotshotting him on the guardrail. Good double team offense from the FBI and Tracy is dancing along to a "faggot" chant. Then they do a quick, but good cutoff spot and then Nova ends up hitting his stupid ass powerbomb/elbow drop combo for another even better cutoff spot. Guido with a diving elbow that he sort of slips on and the crowd chants "you fucked up" as Jeff Jones screams "no he didn't!" which really eggs them on. Meanie hot tags off of a press slam face plant bump from Guido. Big Don gets decked and the faces do some good looking spots for nearfalls but Meanie gets caught going for a moonsault with a flagpole shot from Rich to set up the finish. Another very good FBI showing.

angle with Dawn Marie getting stripped naked.

Sabu/Rob Van Dam v. Shane Douglas/bam Bam Bigelow

The camera crew appeared to be shooting this, but I don't see it where it should be for 98 tv so I'm not sure it ever aired. This was a couple of minutes long and ended when Taz helped Sabu and RVD win.

Justin Credible v. Tommy Dreamer

This devolved into a cluster involving New Jack, Rod Price, Victory, Kronus, et. Nothign to see though there were some amusing and dangerous garbage spots.
