Posted November 21, 201014 yr comment_5458469 This was another absolute war between these teams and featured some of the sickest lariats I've ever seen. They wasted no time coming off the block as Hara hit a lariat on Yatsu, and Yatsu came right back with a wild suplex. I loved Jumbo's saves as Tenryu and Hara tortured Yatsu. After he took the hot tag, Jumbo hit an awesome backdrop suplex on Tenryu. But Tenryu came up with a sweet counter of another attempted suplex and went after Jumbo's knee. The finish, with Tenryu getting DQed for bashing Jumbo's knee with a chair, seemed a little abrupt. But even that reeked of hate. This deserves a nomination, even though it wasn't as good as their matches from the Brody Memorial. Ditch 9/15/88 Disc
November 21, 201014 yr comment_5458499 I agree with Childs... this almost had a shoot style vibe to it. You should watch out for a Jumbo dropkick that connected right on the jaw. Ouch!
November 21, 201014 yr comment_5458515 Jumbo Tsuruta & Yoshiaki Yatsu vs. Revolution (Ashura Hara & Genichiro Tenryu) (9/15/88) Yeah this was another awesome match between these teams as the hatred flowed in every strike and move here. Everyone again was great in their role and the finish while screwy was well done with Tenryu just going nuts on Jumbo's knee. Definite nomination.
