Posted November 23, 201014 yr comment_5458607 Tajiri v. Little Guido Pre-match the crowd chants "you suck dick" at Guido while Guido points at Tajiri and does a jig to the rhythm of the chant. Guido goes for a guillotine sleeper but Tajiri carries him across the ring, hits a take down and then pop on a couple of rolling leg bars. They get into a shoving match and slaps Tajiri to the ground so Tajiri pops up and throws a kick combo. He hits his back spring elbow but hurts his arm in the process so Guido hits him with a nasty forearm and attacks his arm before hitting him with a plancha. Tajiri takes over with a head kick when Guido tries to suplex him in and then takes him to the floor where he suplexes him over the guardrail and into a row of chairs. Tajiri with a suplex and some kicks but Guido hits a powerbomb and then a roll up for a nearfall. They do a spot with Sal on the floor that is kinda weak and then go to a Guido control segment, with several Tajiri hope spots. Tajiri finally makes a real comeback off of a lariat of all things. He hits the tree of woe dropkick and goes for a powerbomb but Guido with a really great looking Fujiwara armbar counter. He stubbornly holds onto the arm off a rope break so Tajiri hits him with a German and a series of head kicks for a good nearfall and then a twisting brainbuster for the finish. I liked the beginning and end a lot and was iffy on the middle. Considering the fact that I think this is easily the weakest of their matches I have no problem holding off on it as a nomination at this stage. Skull Von Krush/Danny Doring v. Nova/Chris Chetti This match was pretty eh and then Doring got on the mic and trolled Taz who came out and destroyed everyone. Impact Players v. Jerry Lynn/Super Crazy This was really go, go, go and still managed to make me fall asleep. I watched it through a second time to make sure I didn't miss anything - I didn't. New Jack v. Mustapha Exactly what you would expect. Steve Corino v. Tommy Dreamer This is pretty much a carbon copy of all of their other matches. These were really routines and while they were good routines if you have seen one of them you have seen all of them. Nothing especially unique about this, though it was entertaining. Rhino/Balls Mahoney v. D-Von/Bubba Dudley I liked some of the opening Rhino/D-Von exchanges more than anything else. Duds can have decently structured matches at times, but this was not one of those times. Rob Van Dam v. Spike Dudley More of the same. It was a very good effort by Spike, and a very Van Dam effort from Van Dam. I thought Spike's bumps and selling were better in this than they were in some of their other matches, but this is utterly forgettable.
