A basic very well executed lucha match, we get the first fall of exchanges, with Stuka v. Panther being a stand out. A second fall of rudo stooging, Valaguez was really neat, I hadn't seen a ton of him before and he had a bunch of cool ways to maneuver the rudos into bumping into each other. We get a third fall with some near falls and bigger moves. I think this makes a set, although it didn't have the truly stand out moments to make it a slam dunk selection.

Phil, your inbox is full, so this is my way of saying "yes, I got the discs". Anyway....

This was pretty rad. Great primera caida stuff with Panther and Stuka. Panther cheap shotting Stuka before the match started was cool, they had a nifty exchange, and Stuka's finish where he caught Dandy in a backdrop position and turned it into a Tornado Bomb was just sick. Then there's the second fall, and it's interesting that Phil brings up Valaguez' role in it, because I actually didn't think much of him in this match. Instead, my eyes were trained on El Dandy, who was putting on a clinic on constantly having his teammates accidentally knock him off of the apron. It was like he was doing an unintentional dive train without a target. And speaking of the apron, I love that the last fall was all about the tecnicos (and later Talisman) trying to find the most violent way to eat a bump into the apron. This is a solid nomination, and I second it.

Blue Panther/El Dandy/Talisman vs. Americo Rocca/Stuka/Chamaco Valaguez (November 1986)

BP & Stuka were the highlights here of a 1st fall that had some really fun exchanges with everyone looking strong. Dandy taking a quasi Tornado Bomb by Stuka was nice. I loved the 2nd fall as the rudos were great here at selling and stooging around with Dandy getting knocked off the apron numerous times before they would get the advantage and dominated the tecs. The 3rd fall was fun as everyone was really solid here with some great bumping especially by the rudos. I really wanted to see a BP/Stuka matchup here as they were so good against each other as well as Dandy & Chamaco. All in all a really solid lucha match and I'll push this forward as a nomination.
