Oz v. Chris Kruger

Decent opener.

Michael Shane v. Red Dog

Shane almost dies on the tope con hilo as his head wildly skips off the floor. Dog always looks pissed, but he looks super pissed here and ends up hitting Shane with a backbreaker that looked like it was thrown with an intent to cripple. Cool spot with Shane getting a nearfall on a crossbody and then getting swallowed up by a Vaderesque body attack from Dog. Dog follows this up shortly thereafter with a nasty elbow to Shane's heart as he is draped over Dog's leg. Dog gets into great position for a reverse cross body in what was probably close to being a dangerously out of whack spot. Dog steals the pin with a roll up. Really liked him in this one.

Hot Commodity v. Christian York/Joey Matthews v. Chris Chetti/Nova

The camera pans back on this which doesn't ease the awfulness that was Dinero missing on a spinkick by a bout four feet. York hits a more successful hilo than the one Shane hit in the match with Dog and then Matthews hits a big dive that doesn't look very impressive at all. Hot Commodity win after the Money flip clothesline. Just realized this is on tv.

Jerry Lynn v. Chris Hamrick

This flows right out of the previous match and just seconds in Hamrick takes a retarded bump to the floor and then eats Lynn's somersault senton in such a fashion that it looks like a killer whale splashing onto a small child. Hamrick goes on offense and immediately starts fucking with the crowd. He hits a huge top rope leg drop for a pretty good nearfall. Hamrick fights off a Lynn superplex attempt and hits an awesome looking diving elbow for a nearfall. Tide gets turned on a series of atomic drops that hamrick sells like a gonnorea test, then ends up doing the spot where he slides into the post trying to avoid the babyface. Brief reversal sequence and then a cradle piledriver for the finish. I really wish Hamrick got longer matches in ECW because this was an awesome effort on his part but I can't really see it holding up with the best of the best at the end of the day.

Bilvis Wesley v. Scotty Anton

Anton's dropkick to Wesley's face while he was draped on the ropes sounded good at least. He follows this up by missing a plancha and taking a nasty splat on the floor. Anton ends up chop blocking Bilvis and locking on the sharpshooter/clapper but Wesley's goons get involved and Anton ends up in a figure four. I have no fucking clue who is supposed to be the face or heel here. Anton is playing the babyface I guess and ends up working hope spots and getting punched in the face hard as fuck. This was oddly entertaining.

FBI v. Psicosis/Mikey Whipwreck/Tajiri

We have this on TV. I realize we have the Hamrick v. Lynn match on tv now as well. Oh well.

Tommy Dreamer v. C.W. Anderson
