December 20, 201014 yr Author comment_5460749 Finally, a funny skit! The chyron reads "Huckster and Nacho Man: Recently injured by ladies shoe". At another point, Hogan goes to attack Larry Fling with a chair. Larry Fling holds up a high heel and the Huckster immediately backs down. The Nacho Man also says the reason people wear the Huckster's merchandise is because they give it out for free to people at ringside in exchange for a promise that they'll be shown on TV.
January 18, 201114 yr comment_5462201 It had it's funny points, but we still get some VKM toilet bowl humor with farting noices.
January 8, 201312 yr comment_5526732 The farting noises were out of control on this one. One week they're advertising in New York Times appealing to shareholders and the next there's like 4 fart noises in less than a minute.
July 10, 201312 yr comment_5550599 Larry calls Huckster and Nacho Man a couple of sells out. WWF has been having fun with the woman's shoe bit. Larry asks how's Liz and both answer at the same time which is a good one. The sound effects were goofy but they worked when Larry pulled out the women's shoe to intimidate Huckster.
January 4, 201510 yr comment_5648036 Back to the spirit of the first War Room skits, with some more on-the-nose jokes about WCW booking and Hulk AstroTurfing, with some staggeringly unnecessary poopy sound effects. And the whining about how the WWF "made" Hogan and Savage stars is pretty pathetic, but this is a little bit better than the past few segments. Were they insinuating that Larry King was boffing Jane Fonda?
February 9, 201510 yr comment_5653624 Fart noises = comedy for Vince. This is really brutal stuff and worse than I remembered.
April 2, 20169 yr comment_5737055 The thing that amuses me about this is just how hard they are going in on Hogan being washed up and yet 6 years later he becomes their champ again.
November 15, 2024Nov 15 comment_6025748 As much as I would not be a wrestling fan now if I had dipped in at this point of Raw and Nitro (and both shows suck more than they don't right now), I find Vince's humor mostly falls flat here. Yes, that whole woman's shoe thing is beyond ridiculous and well-played here. I would argue that very often Vince's shows, for reasons not dealing with the talent, are equal or worse than Nitro more often than not and better maybe once. Maybe you clean up your own house before shit-talking the other guy's house.
