August 24, 201114 yr comment_5480622 Fun contrast to the Shawn/Bret story, which is based on rivalry and athleticism -- and old school vs new school. This one has death and coffins and dopplegangers.
October 4, 201311 yr comment_5566143 Nash did get jobbed out a lot once he'd given his notice but Barry Horowitz would've been a bit much.
January 11, 201510 yr comment_5649034 I liked the finish of Diesel just dropping a fist on Horowitz after one kickout. To this day I have no idea how they did this.

To this day I have no idea how they did this.Nash said they found a lookalike for the live crowd and spliced in footage they took earlier in the day of Nash himself in the casket. Always dug this and it's a great example of WWE slick production done right. I wanna say they did this again years later. With Heidenreich maybe?
February 20, 201510 yr comment_5655109 Cool visual no doubt as I thought it was just a great wax look alike. The build for Mania's top stuff has been solid across the boards as the top of the card was becoming intriguing after the lull of 1995 WWF.
November 20, 2024Nov 20 comment_6025880 Not a bad angle, but a bit too hokey for my tastes. Well done for what it was. I did like the finish with Diesel not using the powerbomb, but almost getting it despite being distracted by the big boot. Then he just punches Horowitz once and it's over. Kinda cool way of doing it I think.
