Bam Bam Bigelow v. Mikey Whipwreck

Pretty good, but short cat and mouse match. Mikey would hit a move or two but get caught going for follow ups and put down with a power spot. Bammer hits the Greetings From Asbury Park for the finish.

Balls Mahoney/Axl Rotten v. FBI

God the opening stalling of this and mimed ass fucking of Axl to Balls were great and ridiculous. Guido ends up getting caught by Balls who bites his ass and spanks him which only serves to make it more absurd. Axl of all people hits a running double baseball slide that actually looks good. Axl ends up getting victimized by the FBI triple team tactics to set up the FIP. Tommy Rich walking away from Axl and pointing over his shoulder at his carcass as an indication that it was time for Guido to pick the scraps was really awesome. FBI end up isolating Axl's leg and working it over. They work a really good heat segment with Rich interference, a cool semi-hulk up double clothesline hope spot from Rotten, et. Balls gets the hot tag and hits his finish but Jeff Jones belt breaks so he stops counting. Rich comes in from behind and levels Balls with a chairshot for the finish. This was a strong combo of action and schtick.

Jerry Lynn v. Taz

Taz is cranky early, but Lynn fires back and looks good doing so hitting his flip senton and a nice top rope legdrop for a nearfall. Taz counters with the angry man slam. Lynn has another flurry that Taz cuts off with a pretty stiff clothesline. Lynn takes a crazy head and arm suplex bump. Amazingly Lynn comes back again with a bulldog and a really nice looking clothesline off the ropes. Then he hits a really good looking top rope frankensteiner and a german for a good nearfall. He foolishly goes for a victory roll and Taz drops him with a suplex. Then another suplex. Then the Tazmission. This is borderline nomination despite being six minutes long. I was really impressed with Lynn.

Al Snow v. Rob Van Dam

The opening of this was okay, then Van Dam hit a huge flip splash to the floor that looked really awesome. The match is boring again for a few then Snow takes a nice looking slingshot and then spike's RVD on his head with one of the sickest backdrop bumps I've ever seen which he follows up with a really stiff powerbomb. Match gets boring again and then RVD kicks Snow's head off on the floor. And the match sort of goes like that with islands of "holy shit that was cook/must of hurt!" surrounded by an ocean of "time for a nap."

Justin Credible v. Erin O'Grady

The future Crash Holly is really awesome in the early going of this working escapes and flashy headscissor spots. Credible is getting major heat and a fan literally drops his pants and shows him his ass at one point. O'Grady with a nice headscissors and then a plancha that takes out Credible and Jason. O'Grady goes FIP and while he is fine in it, sells well and bumps, Credible on offense is not what I want to see. To be fair Credible's offense was not bad here, I just wanted to see more O'Grady flying around. O'Grady comeback was fun before he took the fall, but not enough to make it a nomination.

Chris Candido/Lance Storm v. Spike Dudley/Chris Chetti

Spike was great in this taking flip bumps on his head, flying around well, getting killed by Lance Storm being a sloppy douche, et. Candido was also great showing frustration early, throwing some nice jabs, taking a huge bump over the ropes to the floor. Spike really makes a great whipping boy when he goes full blown FIP as he takes all of the heels offense well and sells his ass off. String of offense leading to the finish was pretty good but I didn't think this was a strong enough overall performance to merit inclusion on a set like this one.

Tommy Dreamer v. Shane Douglas

Fairly good, hard hitting match. Tommy took some pretty nasty bumps in this and I thought Shane was okay and more creative than normal on offense. Dreamer decking Francine in the face surprised me for some reason.

John Kronus/New Jack v. D-Von/Bubba Dudley

This doesn't last long at all. Strange really.
