Posted December 4, 201014 yr comment_5459248 God the opening stalling of this and mimed ass fucking of Axl to Balls were great and ridiculous. Guido ends up getting caught by Balls who bites his ass and spanks him which only serves to make it more absurd. Axl of all people hits a running double baseball slide that actually looks good. Axl ends up getting victimized by the FBI triple team tactics to set up the FIP. Tommy Rich walking away from Axl and pointing over his shoulder at his carcass as an indication that it was time for Guido to pick the scraps was really awesome. FBI end up isolating Axl's leg and working it over. They work a really good heat segment with Rich interference, a cool semi-hulk up double clothesline hope spot from Rotten, et. Balls gets the hot tag and hits his finish but Jeff Jones belt breaks so he stops counting. Rich comes in from behind and levels Balls with a chairshot for the finish. This was a strong combo of action and schtick.
December 11, 201014 yr comment_5460188 FBI vs. Axl Rotten & Ballz Mahoney (11/7/97) - Classic FBI show early on. I mean, Balls was spanking Guido. How cool is that? Axl ends up as FIP and its just weird watching him getting his ass kicked by Guido. Strange. I even enjoyed the hope spots where Axl double clotheslines both guys but still gets cut off before he gets to the corner. Again, I have to agree with the low end nomination. They had some fun stuff and the structure took my by surprise. However, at this time in the game, I looking for something a little deeper.
February 7, 201114 yr comment_5464071 ECW World Tag Titles: The Full Blooded Italians (Little Guido & Tracy Smothers) © vs. Axl Rotten & Balls Mahoney (11/7/97) Tremendous schtick early on between the teams with FBI doing their gay themed stuff and their opponents enabling at all times. Axl working FIP was fun especially watching him sell for Guido. FBI was good here getting the heat as usual working over the leg and using fun double-teams cutting Axl off from getting the hot tag. Balls would get the hot tag and ran wild before a ref bump and Jeff Jones would come out to do his heel ref schtick screwing Balls and allowing Rich to get involved for the win. Very fun match and I'll go with a low-end nomination.
