February 9, 201510 yr comment_5653446 Highlights of the Smoking Gunns using Sunny to win the tag titles from the Godwinns, then Marc Mero beating Hunter Hearst Helmsley, then the lights going out during Savio's entrance. We get footage of matches held in the dark, and Vince hypes tomorrow's live re-airing. This was a huge stroke of luck for the WWF--normally they didn't run encores of In Your House PPVs, but they made an exception here because of Memorial Day weekend. Cut to DiBiase and Austin having a heated conversation and Ted complains that no one could tell how many turnbuckles Savio touched in the strap match. Ted promises to leave the WWF if Vega beats Austin again, which gets Steve's attention but doesn't seem to impress him that much.
March 9, 201510 yr comment_5657731 DiBiase's stint as a manager has been so utterly unimpressive, certainly a big disapointment considering how great he was as a character. He actually was better for the first few weeks as nWo financial backer, before Uncle Eric showed everybody how you do the heel owner gimmick. Austin's reaction is actually pretty funny to me, you could feel he saw that stip as an opportunity to get rid of what had been an anchor.

WE get some highlights of the power outage and I can only imagine how Vince was this day. He announces the repeat for the next night and DIbiase adds to the stakes saying he would leave the WWF if Austin loses vs. Savio.
December 28, 2024Dec 28 comment_6026706 So the newspaper headline had the word "wrasslin" in it, which tickles the Hell out of me. Sunny is now a twice turncoat with the tag champs (where are Skip and Zip now anyway?). Austin did react to Ted saying he would be done. You could see he was interested in that.
