December 27, 201014 yr Author comment_5461100 Scott Hall shows up again at the broadcast booth and tells "Ken Doll" to relax. Sting steps up to Hall and wants to fight. Hall throws his toothpick in Sting's face and Sting slaps him HARD. The police show up and try to escort Hall away and he manages to say before he leaves that he has a BIG surprise for WCW next week. Bischoff is great here. "Next week?"
December 28, 201014 yr comment_5461129 Is this the promo where Bischoff is mouthing the words both guys are saying as they say them?
December 28, 201014 yr Author comment_5461130 I wasn't paying attention to him, but possibly. I can check it out again.
January 12, 201114 yr comment_5461860 This segment gave me goosebumps 15 years ago, and I enjoyed it just as much today. That slap Sting does to Hall is awesome. Bischoff mouthing Hall's final line is funny. Never noticed this before. I so wanted Hall and Sting to go at it right then and there.
February 3, 201411 yr comment_5584611 Terrific angle. Hall was still deeply in Razor mode here. Bischoff is pretty great in putting over the tension and fear, and Sting's slap is fantastic. You can feel something special is building here.
February 10, 201510 yr comment_5653667 We open with Coach Bobby Heenan, who didn't realize when he signed up for that position that Randy Savage would be "coaching" Mongo & Kevin Greene, and is trying to weasel out of it. Scott Hall shows up, and Bobby bails. Super-hot confrontation between Hall and Sting follows--Sting wants him one-on-one right now, but Hall refuses to be told what to do and when, so he promises a little--no, a BIG surprise next week.
April 4, 201510 yr comment_5663328 Bobby being the coach was a fun angle and he seemed to embrace the role and seem motivated. The Hall vs. Sting stuff was great and again Sting is portraying himself well for once as the symbol of WCW. We get a tease for a BIG surprise for next week to add to the intrigue. The Goldust stuff is interesting in WWF but this is by far the biggest thing going on in the big two at the moment.
November 4, 20177 yr comment_5818798 Very good angle. It's still all rather cryptic, more questions than answers, not taking over the show yet and seems to be confined to a couple, relatively short segments; at least that's what we see on the set. They're definitely hitting it out of the park with introducing this angle. Some major is coming but you really don't know what, and to what extent as a viewer.
June 10, 20205 yr comment_5919858 I love this moment. The first week with Hall is such an iconic moment, but with that slap from Sting - you knew the war was on. Such an awesome angle that obviously changed the business forever. From here through 1997 WCW is probably my time period as a wrestling fan.
January 1Jan 1 comment_6026770 I'll agree with there is a sense that something big is happening. Really well-done across the board.
