Posted December 6, 201014 yr comment_5459568 Bubba takes it straight to Spike with power offense. Spike tries to counter by attacking the balls but Bubba goes back on offense. Funny spot with Gertner coming in and rubbing Bubba's wound. Bubba ends up headbutting Spike in the nuts. Bubba ends up missing his senton to set up Spike's flurry. Spike hits his corner punch/rana combo which I love and follows it up with his rolling senton. He then does the bit with the neckbreaker on the guardrail and the leaping chairshot, but Bubba cuts off his momentum with a nasty shot into the guardrail. Bubba grabs the house mic and starts shit talking Spike while battering him with it. Cool spot as Bubba goes for a drop down and Spike hits a short knee drop, followed by a bulldog and his typically solid missle dropkick. Spike hits an Acid Drop and Sign Guy comes in the ring to break it up but ends up hitting Bubba. End result is D-Von sneaking in and the Dudz hitting 3D for the finish. Not their best match, but still good stuff.
December 9, 201014 yr comment_5460116 Bubba Dudley vs. Spike Dudley (2/11/99) - This is during the Dudleys Incite Riots era so they jaw with the crowd pre-match. Early on, Bubba kills Spike, tossing him around at will. Ugly block to the Dudley Dog by Bubba. At this time, Bubba nurses his groin with help from Gertner and Spike is suffering from being dropped on his head. Nice receipt as Bubba headbutts Spike’s groin shortly after. Man, Spike’s little comeback was awesome finding new ways to pop Bubba in the head. Seriously, the dropkick to the neck to the neck snap followed by the dropkick to the face followed by some forearms followed by the ten punches in the corner to the rana to the dive outside… all good. Spike’s last run of offense looked smooth and the interference did lead to a 3D so I can forgive it. I liked this match more than Dylan and consider it a Solid Nomination.
February 14, 201114 yr comment_5464508 Buh Buh Ray Dudley vs. Spike Dudley (2/11/99) Spike gets killed during the early portion of the match as Buh Buh just pounds him along with having to deal with the assistance on the outside. Spike then made a really fun comeback hitting some solid offense leading to D-Von having to come in and they hit the 3D out of desperation to put away the pesky Spike. This was good stuff and should move forward.
