Spike Dudley Spike working the arm early and I love the fact that he always uses cradles and reversals that isolate the arm he is working on, not to mention his targeted top rope dropkick to the arm. Chetti comes back by kicking Spike through the ropes and his offense is a little better than usual which is nice. Spike ends up taking back over with a turnaround Fujiwara takedown of all things. Cool spot as they fight over a baseball slide so Spike reverses and drops into a roll through cradle. Smart finish with Chetti missing a charge into his injured arm and Chetti being rolled up for the finish. Not enough time to merit a nomination, but a solid match. Mikey Whipwreck v. Taz Taz just eats Mikey alive early on. Mikey takes all of his throws and suplexes well but it really feels like a waste and starts to piss me off when Mikey makes a comeback and actually has Taz reeling. Nice tornado DDT, a sick twisting monsault dive, a cross body for a nearfall. Then Taz hooks the Tazmission out of nowhere. Still better than where it was headed early on. FBI v. Eliminators This is one of the best pre-match Tommy Rich segments ever as he just goes off and gives an absurdly long ring introduction of both Guido and Smothers and then starts talking about his ring jacket, Japan and a bunch of other crazy shit. He is clearly drunk off of his ass and it is great. Saturn had just hurt himself so Kronus has to go alone early. It is actually amazing how wel lthey segment this as Kronus gets over early with flashy stuff, gets taken over by double teams, tries to work some hope spots, et. But constantly gets cut off by the numbers of the FBI. Tommy Rich takes his shirt off and is running around ringside clapping like the Boogie Woogie Man as Kronus writhes in pain. Saturn is on the floor in his cast and trips Smothers coming off the ropes. Rich goes to get involved but Saturn flattens him with a chair. Saturn gets in the ring and stunners Guido, then holds the ropes down causing Tracy to fall to the floor. Kronus with the 450 for the finish as Rich runs in and tries to make the save. This was a shit load of fun and ought to at least be watched. Pitbull 2 v. Shane Douglas God this fucking feud, fuck this fucking feud. This was actually a GOOD match by their standards, but not a good match at all. Tolerable but the run-ins couldn't have come early enough. Raven v. Chris Candido Sucked. The BWO mid-match shit really hurt it badly, but it's not like this was going anywhere before that. Tommy Dreamer v. Louie Spicolli (Lumberjack Match) Basically an excuse to have a totally out of control brawl with the guys on the undercard. Fun at times though the match in the ring was never the focus. Bubba Dudley v. Balls Mahoney Really a dull match. Balls sold well and there was some decent schtick but it seems like they could have worked a little harder and had a much better match. Sandman v. D-Von Dudley Jesus what a boring match. The build is just super tedious and the payoff of Sandman vaulting on to the Dudz was way too minimal. Boy the second half of this show was shit.
