Posted December 14, 201014 yr comment_5460334 Nova v. Tony Devito Best part of this was Nova fucking up a dive and Chetti wiping the sand off of his back. Jason v. Jazz This was going pretty good when Jason badly fucked up an overhead slam which is pretty sad since he was working a power gimmick here. Jason's heeling was fine after that and the rest of the match was solid fare but that really killed it for me. Skull Von Krush v. Jerry Lynn Opening mat exchange is okay and leads to a funny spot where both guys "refuel" by getting beers from crowd members. This was actually a pretty entertaining match though nothing really stands out. Steve Corino v. Tommy Dreamer They go through the entire Corino shit talking segment and then Francine and Dreamer do some quickie spots and Francine pins Corino. Tajiri v. Super Crazy v. El Mosco Del Merced I liked the idea of Tajiri letting guys get covers just so he could kick them in the face which was a recurring theme early. I usually like Merced but he looked really off in the early going and out of place. His elimination was really bizarre as well. Crazy and Tajiri didn't get much time against each other but what they did looked good. Should have gotten more time. Taz v. Little Guido Guido answers a Taz open challenge. Too much Big Sal stuff. Grr. This could have been good. Sabu v. Roadkill God the lengthy pre-match shit here with Doring and the ref and Jeff Jones was just annoying. I liked the big spots in this including Roadkill's splash, the Sabu dive, et. They did flub some early stuff but this was at least fun to watch and wasn't really disappointing unlike most of the stuff on this show. Balls Mahoney/Spike Dudley v. D-Von/Bubba Dudley This is a really ridiculous match that alternates between violent as fuck and silly as fuck at random. For that reason a lot of people would probably hate it though I loved it, moreso in fact than a lot of the other matches from this feud. Spike is awesome in this taking a press slam onto the Duds early, taking a sick blade job early, hitting two huge dives off of platforms, getting hiptossed on a grated floor and then off that platform onto the ground, et. Balls and Bubba go back and fourth punching each other in the face early until Balls hits the cheese grater on accident and gets carved up. They brawl to a bar that Spike dives off of. Bubba and Balls beat each other with all kinds of shit from the bar, with Bubba over acting and selling everything in a stereotypical ol Jewish mans voice. They end up brawling to another area where they hit each other with potted plants. Back in the ring the Duds hit some big offense and seem to be out of it but Spike and Balls come back with some big chairshots. Spike looks like he might die from blood loss and the faces set up a table and throw tacks on it and set it on fire. Naturally they get cut off and Duds put both Spike and Balls through flaming tables at the same time for the finish.
