Jerry Lynn v. Chris Chetti

Good opener. Action packed, pretty well laid out and a fairly solid spots. I actually liked Lynn's strange spike DDT off the top even though I'm not sure it went totally as planned.

Spike Dudley v. Justin Credible

Fun early going as Spike does his rollup combo's the full ride taunt and then hits his rolling senton. He then controls Credible with a headlock which Justin only manages to escape after three back suplexes. Spike ends up taking a huge bump to the floor where Jason lays in some really nasty looking shots. I thought the Spike hope spots were pretty strange here as an elbow drop and snap mare didn't really feel like the sort of moves that one would run with on a comeback. He hits the Acid Drop but Jeff Jones does an absurdly slow count. Not a fan of that spot and then they felt the need to repeat it. We got the point the first time. Ridiculous finish with Credible stopping an Acid Droop attempt on Jones and hitting his finish. Well, part of this was good.

John Kronus v. Paul Diamond

Man this was boring as piss and with a horribly botched finish. You would expect these guys to at least bring some athletic spots. They didn't even do that.

Al Snow v. Roadkill

Snow destroys Roadkill, Doring and Chastity.

FBI v. Axl Rotten/Balls Mahoney/Sandman

Tracy pulls a sign out of the crowd that says "The Big Don Is The Icon" which they parade around with. Rich says Bob Geigel, the "President" told him he didn't have to wrestle contractually unless it was a World Six-Man Title defense so the crowd won't have the pleasure of seeing "this big fatass wrestle." Then he insists the ref claim the match a forfeit victory for the FBI since Balls and Axl don't have a partner. Naturally the Sandman's music hits while Rich freaks out. FBI jump him at the bell but they end up clearing house quickly with Rich taking a double back body drop on the way out. The announcer actually announces the match as being for the Six-Man Championship which is awesome. Rich puts up his dukes and they do a spot where Guido/Smothers are "holding him back." Rich demands Sandman start off against him and then bails. The crowd chants bullshit and Rich grabs the mic and says "that is bullshit" and then demands Guido start before instructing Sandman that he will kick his ass in a minute. Axl and Balls end up working over Guido with some fast paced stuff and some nice double teams. Balls ends up getting caught in the FBI's corner and they work over him with some triple team spots. Rich biting Balls face and then spitting into the crowd was awesome. Cool spot as Rich misses a corner charge elbow and Guido has to sprint into the ring to stop the hot tag from happening. Rich ends up missing a second rope elbow but Sandman gets the hot tag and starts caning people. Rich lights up Sandman with a nasty forearm and then ends up chasing Rich out of the ring and to the back while trying to cane him as Balls hits his finish for the pin. Rich was really great in this which is why I am nominating it.

Jason v. Blue Meanie

They do the whole posed own routine before this but this time it was used as a way for Jason to get over offensively with some cheap shots where in the other occasions I've seen them do that it was used for a quick flash pin for Meanie. Anyhow Jason landed some stiff blows in this and Meanie won with a stunner.

D-Von/Bubba Dudley v. Lance Storm/Chris Candido

I really liked the early going of this with the isolated arm work on Bubba, Candido taking some nice big bumps and selling well, the ricidulously long Candido/D-Von rope running spots, Candido dropping Bubba with a back suplex, et. Also enjoyed the sequence with Candido hitting a rana, turning right into a D-Von clothesline and thne D-Von getting caught with a diving Storm clothesline which set up a double dive onto the Duds spot. Candido and Bubba brawl onto a stage and there is a cool spot with Candido getting slammed on a wooden support and narrowly avoiding a dangerous looking Chairshot from Bubba. The punch exchanges with Bubba and Chris are really strong as well. Candido ends up doing his punch drunk sell stumbling around ringside almost pulling shit over, et. Candido ends up isolated and gets worked over by the Duds with double teams. They even break out the old "tag behind the ref back" hopespot which surprised me pleasantly. Awesome cutoff spot with Candido firing off but eating a huge Bubba powerbomb followed by an elbow drop for a nearfall. Bubba catches Candido on a cross body attempt but STorm throws a shitty dropkick into him to break up the slam attempt. Candido gets crotched on the top and then hit with a huge superplex but the Duds miss a rocket launcher and Storm gets the hot tag. All hell breaks loose and in the midst of it Candido hits the diving headbutt for the finish. I didn't really care for the stretch run and it was clear that the hot tag build was flubbed toward the end by some miscommunication but the reality is this relative lack of Storm in this made it a really good "tag" match.

Taz v. Rob Van Dam

Man the crowd brawling in this was boring as fuck and served no purpose at all. Sabu ends up running then Bam Bam and we don't even get a real finish. Fuck this.

Sabu v. Bam Bam Bigelow

This was essentially and three way as RVD stayed around and the story of the match became Bam Bam trying to fight off both guys. They did three different dive spots that ended with some variation of dudes getting wiped out. Triple Threat end up running in as well and the finish is just shit.
