Posted December 17, 201014 yr comment_5460512 I am not a Nova fan but his opening exchange with Guido was fun and I liked the reversal spot off the Smothers back body drop on the apron. Also Meanie laughing hysterically at Guido getting tossed to the ground was funny. Dance off this time ends with Meanie and the ref doing a double hip toss leading to a series of spots that culminates in the ref getting a nearfall on Guido. Action spills to the floor and Rich punches Nova right in the face and hits him with the diving bulldog into the railing. They run through a lot of the same spots from the Baton Rouge show done just as well. I really liked Guido changing it up a bit and getting a nearfall with a big splash off the top and a powerbomb. Nova counters a clothesline with a cool legsweep but gets knocked back down with a jump kick. Cool drop toehold/diving elbow combo and the FBI really worked the hell out of some quality double teams in this one. nova with the hot tag off his ball busting powerbomb and Meanie comes in and hits some big spots as Nova plancha's Tracy on the floor. Finish is a wheel barrow DDT from the babyfaces. Damn near the same level as the match from the last show.
February 13, 201114 yr comment_5464455 The Blue Meanie & Super Nova vs. The Full Blooded Italians (Little Guido & Tracy Smothers) (6/26/98) This match is similar to the other ones and it is going to be really tough to cut down on these when it comes to that time. Solid match and should move forward.
May 27, 201114 yr comment_5471991 FBI vs. Super Nova & Blue Meanie (6/26/98) - Great Nova shine segment early on with the FBI bumping big and solid double team spots. After the FBI regroup, it is their turn to double team and show off their offense. In between, Nova has some good hope spots on Smothers like the leg drop and urunage slam. Great double team finish by the Bwo. I wanna compare this to the other Meanie-Nova-FBI tags but I enjoyed this.
