It was not mind blowing and would probably not impress people who are used to seeing really great performances of that ilk in tag settings but I liked it. Dupps were fine in control. Nice definitive finish. PN News v. Tom Marquez I was liking the stiffness of this at least and then News sells a Marquez forearm that literally missed. They make up for that a bit with a nice diving dropkick and a double stomp off the top. Then News sits down on a sunset flip killing Marquez and hits the flip senton for the win. Kid Kash v. Tajiri v. Simon Diamond Man Tajiri's back elbows on Kash looked brutal as fuck here. Tajiri being annoyed by Simon's interference in his beatdown of Kash and just getting up and stiffing the shit out of him was awesome. Simon actually hits a decent looking plancha on Tajiri but takes a bunch of time to pose and ends up getting killed by a tope con hilo from Kash. Kash with a nice springboard missle dropkick for a nearfall. Tajiri with a badass twisting submission on Kash who then gets eliminated by Diamond who blocks his moonsault attempt with a reverse DDT. Tajiri goes to shake Diamond's hand and then kicks the shit out of him. Really loved the Diamond powerbomb/floatover pinning combo spot. Really fun sequence with Diamond pointing to his head only after a nut shot only for Tajiri to do the same thing to him. Tajiri wins with the brainbuster. I liked this a lot. Lance Storm v. Spike Dudley Opening of this with Spike knocking Storm to the floor, doing his knuckle lock roll through spot, hitting his corner punch/rana combo was good. He ends up loosing momentum on a corner charge where he hits the post. Storm hits a shoulder breaker as a follow up. Spike hits a cross body of the rope and a really nice clothesline for nearfalls but Storm cuts him off with a jawbreaker. Storm is not known for his strikes but the way Spike took his kneed was awesome. Spike reverses a gorilla press attempt into a sunset flip and tries to carry forward with the momentum but ends up with Storm rolling through for his single leg crab. Storm gets reversed to the floor, forearmed and then nailed with a really great tope from Spike. Spike goes to the top with a chair and hits a diving chair to Storm's back. Spike throws him back in the ring but gets caught with a dropkick to the face. Storm goes for something off the ropes but Spike drops down with a knee and ends up getting a nearfall. Spike with a sweet diving second rope rana spot. Dawn Marie gets in the ring to distract the ref and Spike kisses her. Spike turns around right into a superkick for a nearfall but Storm gets reversed into a crucifix by Spike for a nearfall. Storm wins on a roll up with a bridge as he holds the ropes. I thought this was a really excellent showing by both guys. New Dangerous Alliance v. Balls Mahoney/Axl Rotten Faces start out stabbing the heels. This gets wild with Wiiles off all people hitting a lunging dive onto Balls while C.W. stabs Axl. They end up dragging a piece of the guardrail into the ring and Wiles gets bumped into it as Axl is eating a trashcan shot on the floor. Balls ends up going FIP as this settles into a straight tag match. Axl gets the hot tag and comes in with some nice lariats. Babyfaces win with a chairshot into a nutcracker suite on a chair. I actually liked this but it would have been better as either a straight tag from the jump or a wild brawl throughout. Mike Awesome v. Little Guido Guido's futile efforts to do a single leg on Awesome were funny. Awesome teases a press slam toss of Guido but he reverses it into a sunset flip. Awesome misses a legdrop and Guido hits another roll up. Awesome calls Sal into the ring and the FBI end up double teaming Awesome. Guido uses this time as a chance to attack the arm. . Guido tries to slam Awesome bus to settle for a legsweep. I am amazed at how much of the match Guido was given. Guido goes o the top but gets caught with a slam coming down. Sal in and he accidentally drops Guido. Jones passes a table to Awesome. Sal tries to save Guido from it but Awesome pulls him away and powerbombs Guido through a table. This was a fun match actually. Raven/Tommy Dreamer v. Da Baldies This is three Baldies v. Dreamer and Raven. Francine ends up getting involved as well as she beats on Devito. Barely even a match really. Jason v. Jazz These matches were always decent because Jason was a good heel and Jazz could execute basic offense well and sell a beating. This was a good example of that. I really liked the spot with Jazz cartwheeling away, throwing kicks that Jason brushed off, kicking Jason in the nuts and then Jason cutting her off real quick. Finish with Credible costing Jason was decent for what it was. Could have lived without the post match beatdown which just seemed ridiculous though it did set up the real main event. Sabu v. Rhino This starts when Sabu saves Jazz from a table bump. Rhino/Corino/Victory all jump Sabu and Rhino hits a diving headbutt for an early nearfall. I kind of liked the dynamic here as Sabu was forced to start on the defense so when he hit his big spots a few minutes in they seemed more important. Rhino kicking out of the triple jump moonsault was a minor surprise. I like Corino, but I could have really done without him running in here even if he did take a good brief asskicking before firing back. Rhino got caught going to the top but Corino again came in for the save. Sabu sets up a table but the end result is Fonzy helping Sabu put Corino through a table. Clusterfuck really which is too bad because the two guys in the match seemed to be having on nights.
