What was shown was good, especially Chetti's flip bump off the top that set up the finish. Axl Rotten v. Balls Mahoney Interesting to see two future tag partners work each other. Sort of a strange match in that they worked hard but nothing really happened. Finish was a flash pin of all things off of a second rope elbow. Also the post-match beer bash with Balls and Sandman was long as fuck and really strange Spike Dudley v. Taz Love Spike's kick off dropkick and his rolling senton looked really awesome here. The rest of this really didn't work. Taz just seemed annoyed to even be in the ring and there was not opportunity enough for Spike to save this with crazy bumps. Rob Van Dam v. Pitbull 2 This was just sort of there and then RVD hilo'ed Pitbull 1 who was selling his neck injury and things got really hot with Douglas coming out attacking Pitbull why he was down and Pitbull 2 really laying it in when he was on offense. Cool angle that was on tv IIRC. Eliminators v. D-Von/Bubba Dudley v. Gangstas This starts as a highspot heavy match with the Duds and Elims, then the Gagstas music hits and it turns into a wild brawl. I didn't think this was a particularly inspired version of this ECW staple. Louie Spicolli v. Sabu The stuff that was hit clean in this looked really awesome. The stuff that was not hit clean looked really terrible. What more is there to say? I mean there was a lot of cool looking shit but it really lacked structure and with the messy stuff it just didn't seem like a serious nomination candidate. Raven/Shane Douglas v. Tommy Dreamer/Terry Funk Funk's hot tag was the best part of this as he hit some nasty shit on Doulas and tried to break his neck. The problem is the rest of this was boring as shit.
