Angle with Adnan buying Patera from Heenan. We already have this on a previous disc.

Jerry Blackwell/Ken Patera v. Bruce (Butch) Reed/Spike Huber

JIP with Reed in peril. Reed hot tags shortly thereafter and Huber comes in with some awesome punches on Patera. Huber with a great airplane spin but Blackwell breaks up the fall with a stiff as fuck elbow. Reed gets pushed into the corner by Patera and Blackwell avalanches the fuck out of him. Then the heels take Huber and just drive his shoulder intot he steel. Blackwell and Reed get into a fist fight on the floor while Patera destroys Huber with elbows and locks on the full nelson. Dick The Bruiser hits the ring and attacks Patera. I wish this was shown in full and wasn't so short because what was shown was super hot and fun as all hell.

The High Flyers v. Ken Patera/Jerry Blackwell

JIP with Gagne in Patera's bearhug. Blackwell ends up whiffing on a big splash after a few minutes of bearhug work from the heels. Cool spot as Blackwell just steps in front of Gagne and his sheer size blocks the hot tag allowing Patera to sustain some momentum but Gagne fires back shortly after this and goes through Patera's legs to get the hot tag. Brunzell got a great nearfall off of a dropkick. Brunzell gets isolated and squashed by Blackwell. Gagne tags in and Blackwell does his awesome weeble wobble sell of a dropkick. Gagne locks on the sleeper but the ref gets tied up long enough for Patera to sneak in and drop a nasty elbow to Gagne's head with both guys falling to the ground. Brunzell tags in and hits a dropkick and locks in a figure-four but Adnan takes his cast and drives it into Brunzell's face. Brunzell hits one dropkick but misses a second attempt on Patera. Patera misses a diving knee and Brunzell locks on a figure four. Adnan gets back on the apron and Gagne is distracted by him which results in Blackwell crushing Brunzell with a splash with the heels winning as a result. What was shown here was really fucking awesome, but it was less than half the match. EXTRA

The High Flyers v. Jerry Blackwell/Ken Patera

The opening sequence was great as they go from a rope running spot, into Greg getting slammed by Blackwell, into Blackwell missing a splash, taking his awesome dropkick sell and then Brunzell coming in and working his arm really well to wild approval from the crowd. Patera comes in and he gets his arm worked over too. There is a clip here though I don't think much is lost at all as Patera misses a diving knee and then gets hung up in the ropes on a wild looking bump. I really liked the transition to the heat section here as Brunzell gets too close to the heel corner and Patera just sort of lays his weight on him in such a way that it allows for him to tag Blackwell in who catches him with a splash. The heels are really working some great stuff here, as you get Brunzell isolated in the corner eating a huge avalanche that he doesn't see coming, the old tag behind the refs back hope spot and a really cool spot with Patera working over Brunzell on the floor only for Brunzell to floor him with a forearm and rush in for the tag only to be trapped in a front face lock by a lunging Blackwell. Fucking great hope spot from Brunzell on a back body drop of Patera. Blackwell tags in and ends up going up top where he misses a big splash with Brunzell almost instinctively rolling over for a nearfall that Patera breaks up. Brunzell ALMOST gets to the ropes but Blackwell tags in Patera and trips Brunzell at the last second allowing Patera to hit an elbow to his back. Gagne comes in and attacks Patera which allows Brunzell enough time to hit a dropkick. Brunzell retreats into the heels corner but as Patera comes forward he goes through his legs for a hot tag. Patera ends up getting squashed by Blackwell who is whipped into him and Blackwell busts out a whole slew of fat man bumps including a great weeble wobble sell of a drop kick with Gagne chopping him over for the final TIMBERRRR. Gagne locks on the sleeper after Patera takes a nasty and wild bump to the floor. Brunzell goes out to work over Patera on the floor but Adnan runs in and clubs the ref with his cast to trigger a DQ. The only thing about this that wasn't awesome was the finish, but I didn't even mind that as post-match stuff with the faces ripping the cast off of Adnan and then choking him and beating the heels with it was awesome.

Jerry Blackwell/Ken Patera v. Rick Martel/Steve O (2/3 Falls)

The early work here was not spectacular, but was good. I liked how Patera tried to walk Martel into his corner while trapped in a headlock only for Martel to pull back. Blackwell tagging and immediately taking the dropkick/armdrag combo was really awesome. Cool nearfall as Blackwell briefly gains control but misses his splash and gets caught with a slingshot splash from Martel which results in a brief melee that allows the heels to take over. Ridiculously close nearfall from Martel on a reverse victory roll. Steve O hits an ariplane spin and Blackwell came in to break up the fall but elbowed Patera. Faces end up taking the first fall on a crossbody from Martel, while Steve O holds Blackwell at bay. Second fall opens with Patera in an ab stretch but Blackwell just comes in and punches Martel's lights out. Funny enough Steve O tags in and does the same thing so Blackwell headbutts his lights out. Blackwell hits a powerslam for a nearfall. Arbitrary time limit hits here with both teams brawling. This was a really fucking stupid ending to an otherwise good match.

Dino Bravo/Steve O v. Jerry Blackwell/Ken Patera

Man I could watch Blackwell take a dropkick all day long and Bravo hitting a crossbody for a nearfall was kind of surreal given the kind of wrestler he would turn into by the time he got his run with Vince. Faces target Patera's arm with some pretty good work and I really like how they would come up for highspots like Bravo's cross body, plus I thought Patera's selling was really sound. Watching Patera inch to the corner again after getting a nearfall on a bodyslam attempt that went bad for Steve O was interesting. This was starting to get really good and we got a clip and when they come back Steve O is FIP. Damnit. It was a pretty good heat segment but it's not the same when you don't know what the "in" was. Really great spot with Blackwell missing a splash and Steve O doing a slow crawl to a hot tag only to get clubbed in the back by Blackwell at the last possible second. Really cool hot tag as Steve leapfrogs over a back body drop attempt and tags on the way down. Brave hits a series of three dropkicks onto Blackwell and then gets him up for a body slam which gets a massive pop. Patera ends up tagging in and he takes a sweet delayed bump, and then an atomic drop. Fucking great finish as Steve O gets Patera up in an airplane spin and Blackwell just walks up and kicks his legs out and then splashes him putting Patera on top for the fall. Even with the bad edit and knowing that some of this is lost I think this is a nomination just on the strength of the critical home stretch spots alone.

Jerry Blackwell/Ken Patera v. Mad Dog Vachon/Rick Martel

JIP. Man was Mad Dog over. Blackwell's headbutts being ineffective against Mad Dog amused me for some reason. This is all heels getting their ass kicked early. Martel dropkicks Blackwell on top of Patera. It was fun watching Mad Dog bust out a double stomp and seeing a nice slingshot splash for the finish for the faces, but the heels getting eaten alive here really was not what I wanted to see out of this match.

Jerry Blackwell/Ken Patera v. Dick The Bruiser/Mad Dog Vachon

JIP. This starts with Mad Dog in peril but then Blackwell hits a nice dropkick and his powerslam. Blackwell misses a top rope splash which was a great bump but the timing was off. Match gets called shortly after this.

Mad Dog Vachon interview with Okerland. Mad Dog is making Blackwell's coffin. EXTRA

Jerry Blackwell v. Mad Dog Vachon (Texas Death Match)

Pre-match Mad Dog attacks the Sheiks who hold him in the corner allowing Blackwell to hit an avalanche, big splash and powerslam for the first fall. Mad Dog fights to his feat and Blackwell hits another slam and a splash for another fall. Mad Dog is falling all over himself selling. Blackwell charges at him and dorps a big elbow and then there is a commercial though it looks like they come back right where they left off. Dog gets crushed with an avalanche. Dog fires back with punches and slaps that Blackwell sells really fucking well. They spill to the floor and Blackwell eats a fucking sick chairshot from Dog. Blackwell gets spun around while getting fishooked which was pretty awesome. Dog starts biting the cut of Blackwell but picks him up on a fall attempt. Dog gets caught coming in with a big knee and Blackwell goes to the top but misses his big splash. Dog climbs up top and hits a diving knee for his first fall. Blackwell struggles to his feat but can't answer the bell. I doubt seriously that Dog could have had matches much better than this with anyone in the World at this point.

Ken Patera/Jerry Blackwell/Sheik Adnan Al-Kaissie v. The High Flyers/Rick Martel

JIP. This starts with Brunzell in peril. Gagne ends up getting the hot tag but drives himself into the turnbuckle almost immediately and goes straight into victim mode himself. This next segment was okay. Adnan then ends up getting worked over by the faces which seemed kind of out of place. Blackwell gets slingshotted in and then takes multiple dropkicks for the finish.
