The narration over this is hilarious and makes this worth watching. EXTRA Blackjacks v. Abdullah The Butcher/Jerry Blackwell JIP. Wild brawl that gets thrown out after a few minutes. Mainly notable for the teased dissension between Blackwell and Adnan at the end which we also got in the previous news clip. Battle Royal JIP. Man some of the early eliminations in this are really insane for the time, including a wild headscissors with both guys flying to the floor. Blackwell ends up eliminating Brody to win but then Adnan, Brody and Abby beatdown Blackwell. The post-match stuff with the faces making the safe and Dusty firing a bloodied Blackwell up was pretty great. Blackwell is laying on a bench in the back bleeding while an announcer narrates the previous events. Blackwell interview with Gordon Solie declaring war on Adnan and Brody. Promo with Brody/Adnan on Blackwell. King Kong Brody v. Jerry Blackwell Blackwell goes after Adnan which allows Brody to take him to the floor and bust him open. Blackwell is really great selling and timing his big hulk up spots from this point forward. The problem is that Brody doesn't do vulnerability well and can't bump for shit. Match gets thrown out. King Kong Brody v. Jerry Blackwell Longer, shittier version of the previous match. This time Boom Boom Bundy saved Blackwell instead of Hennig. King Kong Brody v. Jerry Blackwell (No DQ) Blackwell enters the ring with a board and immediately goes apeshit with it. Brody comes back and they spill the floor where Brody hits a nasty looking chairshot to Blackwell's throat. The ref is stationed outside of the ring for his safety which has the effect of every count coming late. The crowd is super into Blackwell here and his selling really makes this one fun. Pretty good nearfall as Blackwell hit one avalanche and then went for a second but Adnan based a chair to Brody and Blackwell ran into it. Blackwell comes back with a chairshot to a diving Brody and hits his powerslam but Adnan stops the count. Gagne hits the ring for the save. By no means was I in love with this match but this feels like the sort of match that might have it's fans despite its glaring flaws. End of Cage match with Gagne v. Adnan and Blackwell and masked man running into the cage. King Kong Brody v. Jerry Blackwell Before the match starts Adnan and Brody double team Blackwell and take him out. Brody goes and grabs Greg from the commentary table and they end up fighting in the ring. Watching Brody essentially no sell twenty shots from a boot reminds me of just how shitty he was. Blackwell ends up running back out and making the save for Greg. EXTRA Interview with Blackwell/Gagne mid-ring. News Highlights of Brody/Masked Man beating Blackwell/Gagne Adnan/Brody interview King Kong Brody v. Jerry Blackwell JIP. Sgt. Slaughter is handcuffed to Adnan at ringside. Didn't care much for the match but the angle at the finish with Sarge being attacked, Adnan/Brody working over Blackwell and then the Masked Man hitting the ring got a great reaction from the live crowd. Nord The Barbarian/King Kong Brody v. Jimmy Snuka/Greg Gagne (Cage Match) JIP. FAces win and then they end up brawling to the floor.
