Posted December 27, 201014 yr comment_5461122 The Cuban Assassin v. Bobby Crawford Assassin eventually gets pissed off at Crawford's shitty arm work and slams him on the floor and then DDT's him for the finish. Great Malumba/Gerry Etifier v. Rocky Delesara/Paul Peller The opening sequence is a lot of fun as Etifier just runs through a ton of highspots with Delesara flying around. Delesara finally goes to tag out and Peller is visually annoyed by the prospect but tags in after a short delay. Malumba ends up coming in and working over Peller's arm so Peller tags back out. Delesara and Etifier doing a pretty decent looking knuckle lock bridge spot that builds to a Etifier break and a dropkick with Delesara taking a wild bump to the floor. Peller tags in and immediately goes into a game of cat and mouse with Malumba and then starts working standard heel tactics with eye rakes, double teams in the corner, et. God damn I thought we were gonna have a heat section instead Malumba makes an immediate comeback and ends up hitting a headbutt for the finish. The Delesara/Etifier sequences were good, but man Malumba seemed intent on making the match totally psychologyless. Leo Burke v. The Spoiler Really liked Burke dropping a knee right onto Spoiler's face off the opening rope running spot. The cameras end up cutting to No Class Bobby Bass at the commentary booth so we miss Spoiler's comeback. Really nice looking sunset flip for a nearfall from Burke. Burke ends up locking on a sleeper but the Iranian Sheik hits the ring to attack Burke with the Cuban Assassin of all people making the save. Frenchy Martin v. Buddy Lane Funny spot with Lane going for an arm drag and Martin just dead weights him and locks on a wristlock. Lane rattles off a couple of quick nearfalls so Frenchy retreats to the corner. Frenchy takes over with a an eye rake and goes straight to the heeling, biting Lane and taking a piece of wrist tape to choke Lane out. Martin uses a piece of ring to gouge at Lane and then a thumb to the throat of Lane. Lane keeps trying to make comebacks but gets his hair pulled or eye poked, et. Lane really takes some nice bumps off of a couple of rope running spots. Lane makes a comeback but Frenchy moves on a corner charge and Lane hits the steel. Frenchy ends up winning with a shoulder breaker. Decent little match. Sunny War Cloud/Cousin Mike v. Chuck Sims/Nikita Kalimekoff Nikita has to flee the ring early as War Cloud just runs right over him on a criss cross spot. They then do a bit where War Cloud locks on a full nelson and the big Russian breaks it but Cousin Mike (a young Mike Shaw) tags in and applies a full nelson that Nikita can't get out of. Sims cuts off the babyface momentum by punching War Cloud in the face off of a sunset flip attempt. They actually work a pretty good heat section with the heel double teaming War Cloud and some teased comebacks. Nice crossbody from War Cloud leads tot he hot tag. Faces take the first fall off of a Cousin Mike lariat. Second segment of the match is mostly heel in peril and there is no second fall. Solid enough match.
