Bass comes to the ring with an American flag which he uses as a weapon and then tosses Hutchinson to the floor. Bass is an awesome theatrical bumper and mega douchebag. Love his reaction to Hutchinson's comeback with the cross body. Bass ends up hitting a sick looking/semi botched inverted atomic drop and then a double boot eye rake. Hutchinson charges the corner and goes for a monkey flip but Bass pulls up on it and snake eyes him in the corner, then follows up with a running bulldog to take the first fall. Bass starts jawing with the fans and tells Hutchinson to bring it on. Hutchinson grabs his arm and Bass goes straight into a super exaggerated sell job. They do a spot where Bass slams him but Hutchinson holds onto the arm bar. Bass makes his come back and is stepping through the ropes screaming at the locals at this point. Bass goes into a bunch of staple heel spots which he does really well and with a really scummy charisma. Bass ends up missing a diving headbutt as the final bell rings and Hutchinson follows up with a nice rolling splash and elbow. This is by no means a great match and the timing of the most falls before curfew finish was somewhat flubbed but if we are ever going to do a Canada set Bobby Bass is the sort of unheralded guy that people ought to at least see and this is a very good Bobby Bass showcase performance.
