Fun match with them working their normal spots with the crowd slowly getting into it but when Dusty was in the figure-four they were into his comeback. It took a while but after some bionic elbows, Flair got the juice which they had to have in Puerto Rico and I loved Hugo yelling FOULE when Dusty kicked Flair in the balls. Dusty would lock on the figure-four but Flair would get the ropes so both men would brawl with each other and the referee would get hit in the crossfire and he called for the bell. Easily the best match I've seen in WWC so far and this is a nomination by proxy. Sure enough it would be a Flair/Dusty match to get a nomination.
February 10, 201312 yr comment_5534332 This was about the perfect length for these two, included all the staples and was a very good match. I'm not sure any sort of real review is necessary because people know what these guys are going to do. Still this had some nice touches like Flair picking up a thrown item to use as a weapon to gain an advantage and Dusty missing an early elbow attempt to Flair's leg which played into the armwork Flair had been doing. Dusty's jabs looked really outstanding in this and the big comeback and nut shot from Dusty got over huge with the crowd. You knew this was going to some sort of bullshit finish, but it was a hell of a lot of fun in getting to that point and this made me want to go back and watch more Dusty/Flair matches.

December 24, 201311 yr comment_5577244 This was another great Flair-Dusty match with the inevitable shit finish but that doesn't matter because I liked it a lot. Dusty's jiving is always great and it was especially amusing here particularly in the strike exchanges like when he ducked a Flair punch by doing the limbo and popping back up to return on offense. The way they built and set-up the figure four as a huge deal was nice. It's Puerto Rico so the fans were definitely in tune with that as well. The spot of the match was Dusty's low blow and the second best spot of the match was the spitting war while Flair had Dusty in an arm twist. Yeah, this was a lot of fun. SOLID nomination.
