Posted January 12, 201114 yr comment_5461871 This starts with Hugo pimping the Abby/Colon AWA action figures which I had as a kid which were fun times. Chicky Starr & "Rambo" Ron Starr vs. Sabu & Franklin Washington (September 1986) This damn sure ain't the famous Sabu or Cocoa Samoa and this is pretty much a squash. Al Perez vs. Huracan Castillo Jr. (September 1986) Perez has just recently turned rudo while still doing his "rocker" gimmick and wins fairly easily. Next we have a promo from Colon & Invader fresh from playing basketball which was something. White Knight (Pat Rose) vs. Armando Salgado (September 1986) This is JIP and not much of anything. Then we get taped promos by the Sheepherders, Gary Hart for Abby, and a fantastic promo by Terry Funk regarding the Universal title tournament. Miguel Perez Jr. vs. La Momia (September 1986) This mummy doesn't even wear a mask and has hair like Teijho Khan. The Rock n Roll RPM's (Mike Davis & Tommy Lane) vs. The Destroyer & Mexican Angel (September 1986) RPM's win fairly easily. Next we get a Sheeps match from Southwest. Super Medico (Jose Estrada) vs. Mike Kelly (September 1986) Squash. Abdullah the Butcher vs. Victor Cancel (September 1986) Squash. Then we get another great Terry Funk promo and these are extras. White Knight (Pat Rose) vs. Sabu (September 1986) Squash. Al Perez & Chicky Starr vs. Jorge Clemente & Armando Salgado (September 1986) Squash.
June 30, 201312 yr comment_5549464 This Sabu was a local jobber who had the nickname "El Marron de Cantera" (The Sledgehammer of Cantera). Cantera was the neighborhood/sector he was from. The hammering happened to him. The promos could be good extras, particularly the ones relating to Aniversario 86.
October 20, 201311 yr comment_5568139 I started to write this stuff up but I was fast forwarding so much I stopped. The Funk promos are great. Beyond that there isn't a single thing on this disc worth anyone's time.
