Posted May 31, 200520 yr comment_2339502 From the Bruiser... Believe the green tea hype. It's fo' real. I've been taking green tea tablets since Saturday and coupled with some healthier eating, I've already dropped three pounds. So what other products have you used that work well, and would actually recommend? For me, it's gel insoles. I bought a pair, and my feet are unbelieveably comfortable even after a long day at work.
May 31, 200520 yr comment_2340159 I was taking Echinichea to fight the common cold and it worked pretty well. Much better than that airborne crap. As for losing weight, just to make a point about how a slight modification can make a big difference. I stopped drinking regular soda and only drink diet or seltzer now and I needed to make a new hole in my belt after a few weeks.
June 1, 200520 yr comment_2340430 rob is on point with cutting out soda. That is the worst shit for you. Well, there is worse shit but soda has zero nutritional redeeming qualities.. nada.
June 1, 200520 yr Author comment_2340477 Cutting out soda without a doubt is one of the best things to help lose weight.
June 1, 200520 yr comment_2340749 This is true. People who claim they wanna lose weight but refuse to cut pop out of their diet are stubborn morons who probably don't really deserve to lose weight. Once you start drinking water, you acquire a taste for it and suddenly, nothing else really quenches your thirst. Going back to pop just tastes loaded and can make you question why you drank it so much before. I gave pop up for the most part for the second time this past New Year. I've had pop maybe three times since then. I've had the craving for some Mountain Dew once in a while, but for the most part, I don't miss it at all. It's amazing how much crap you can eat and feel less ramifications than eating healthier but still drinking pop.
June 1, 200520 yr comment_2342538 I've always found that the best way to lose weight is to not gain it in the first place. Not eating a lot is a good way to not gain weight. If you have a slow metabolism then not eating a lot and not eating shitty food is the way to go. I hate coffee so I need Coke in the morning to wake me up. Cutting out soda is not in my plans, but I'm a lanky bastard so I don't really need to.

I weigh about 180-185, but I have no idea where most of that is because it's not visible. As for the soda, I had a regular Coke last week and I couldn't even get it down. It's too sweet and syrupy for me now. If you want to talk about doing the best thing for your body, cut out the diet soda and the chemicals and stick with seltzer. I love that shit, and it's pretty cheap. 45 cents for a liter.
June 1, 200520 yr comment_2344758 Candy's also a foe to be reckoned with if you're watching your weight. You can inadvertantly take in some major calories with most candy. It's a no-win situation, since you're not likely to actually get full from the majority of the candy out there and there's no redeeming nutrional benefits to cover up the fact that you're packing away nothing but sugar. Take, for instance, Swedish Fish. God, I love them, but a glance at the nutrional facts revealed that seven pieces of the candy that makes boasts about being fat free, equals 150 calories. One hundred and fifty! For seven pieces of candy that can be downed in a few minutes. That's a lot more time on the treadmill working it off.
June 4, 200520 yr comment_2380820 Gillette M3Power Nitro I needed a new razor and after reading good things about it, I bought one. It's as good as people say. The micro-pulse thing is actually pretty cool and isn't just a worthless gimmick. The blade design, along with the Lubrastrip, make for a nice, close, comfortable shave. So far, there's been no irritation or razor burn. Highly recommended.
June 4, 200520 yr comment_2381134 Gillette just lost a court case, which now ruled that they are no longer able to use the whole "vibrating razor gives you a closer shave because it raises the hair off your skin" nonsense.
