Jimmy Garvin v. Gerry Monty(?)

Fun squash. Monty got in some decent offense early, Garvin hit a nice chain wrestling sequence and won with a brainbuster.

Jimmy Garvin promo on Rick Martel. Pretty darn good.

Rick Martel v. Dennis Stamp

I doubt there are ten wrestlers in Japan as good as Dennis Stamp. Stamp was just a lot of fun in this as this fugly motherfucker, working solid grappling routine with Martel, getting his ass kicked around, talking all of Martel's big spots, et. I enjoyed this more than I should have.

Verne Gagne promo. Interesting promo from Verne where he teases a Martel v. Flair unification match.

Road Warriors v. Zulu/Ken Lucas

Animal hit a really great powerslam in this. Pretty weak other than that.

Road Warriors interview. God Ellering can be annoying.

Kamala v. Steve O

Nothing match.

Nick Bockwinkel/Mr. Saito interview where he touts himself and Saito as an early benefit of globalization. I'm not kidding.

Mr. Saito/Crazy Luke Graham/Steve Regal v. Curt Hennig/High Flyers (Elimination Match)

The heel team is WAR level bizarre. Saito and Hennig really seemed to alternate between "off" and unprofessionally stiff when in there with each other. Saito's corner bump routine really was Slaughter level great. Hennig gets eliminated first when Saito punched Hennig as hard as he could in the throat. Awesome double elimination of Saito and Gagne on a fucking insane Gagne body press that drives both of them over the top. Regal gets immediately taken out by a Brunzell dropkick. Yes this match came down to Brunzell and Luke fucking Graham of all people. A fucking rfe bump and Luke God Damned Graham wins this. Incredible. This falls under the "how the fuck did this actually happen" category.

Jim Brunzell interview

Billy Robinson/Dennis Stamp v. Fabulous Ones

Oh man the Robinson neckbreaker off of the cutesy run of roll up/counter work from Keirn was great. The rest of this was sad to watch as Robinson was reduced to teaming with Dennis Stamp.

Billy Robinson promo

Eddie Sullivan/Zulu v. Jerry Blackwell/Baron Von Raschke

Hey Blackwell hit a dropkick! Blackwell was pretty great actually though the match was just there.

Baron/Blackwell interview

Tom Zenk v. Jimmy Garvin

Fun to watch Zenk jobbed out as I hate that son of a bitch. Sick brainbuster at the finish.

Jimmy Garvin promo

Road Warriors v. Gerry Monty/Steve O

Steve O and Hawk had a really fun thirty second run. Exactly what you would expect.

Crazy Luke Graham v. Jim Brunzell

If Brunzell beats Graham he gets five minutes with Adnan. Brunzell wins easily and you feel bad as this almost came across like a frat boy beating up a harmless homeless man. Brunzell's five minutes with Adnan was interrupted by Masked Superstar of course.

Nick Bockwinkel v. Larry Winters

Fuck Yes! Larry Winters is one of the early ECW scummy indie dudes and here he is working fast standing switches with Bock and eating sick drop toeholds. Bock works the leg. Winters fires back but misses a top rope knee drop and Bock locks on the figure four for the finish. That was fun.
