Promo with Curt Hennig/Scott Hall. Curt is working a sort of tweener/aggressive babyface gimmick here and it is totally over the top.

Curt Hennig v. Nick Bockwinkel

JIP. Bock is reeling early. Curt is really working a headlock. They go to a double knockdown spot with Curt taking a huge and wild bump. Curt hits a kick to the gut and a small package for a nearfall. Bock locks on an ab stretch and starts throwing throat punches. Bock ends up locking on a figure-four head scissors after a run of middling nearfalls. Pretty good work from Curt under neath to build the tension and I like how he broke out and immediately went to work on Bock's leg. He goes for a figure-four but Bock rolls him forward to escape though it doesn't slow Curt's overall momentum. Curt hits a wild face plant headbutt to Bock's guts and locks on an Indian Deathlock. Fun stuff as Curt is throwing punches and headbutts to Bock while keeping him in the hold and Bock has to roll over into the ropes to break the hold. Really loved the Hennig nearfall on the sunset flip. They spill outside and Bock takes a bump into the stairs and is selling the beating nicely. Fun wild forearm off the ropes from Hennig and he follows up with a nice dropkick and piledriver for a nearfall. Bock gets the ten count turnbuckle shots a few times but Bock locks in a desperation sleeper off the ropes. Hennig goes over the top rope to escape, but Hennig pulls Bock over the top and gets DQ'ed. This was good. It was an ESPN match so I assume it is in full somewhere though not much is missing here I don't think. Still, this was probably the worst of their matches.

Greg Gagne interview on Hennig. This is actually a really good promo from Greg.

Curt Hennig v. Nick Bockwinkel

This is the complete SuperClash II match with intro's and pre-match Larry Z challenge.

Finish of Bock v. Larry with Bock using the roll of dimes on Larry

Larry Z post-match interview

Nick Bockwinkel v. Curt Hennig

JIP. This is well into the match. Basically the finishing run shown with Bock avoiding a flying dropkick after an offensive run of his own and knocking over a ref in the process. Larry Z hits the ring and blindsides Bock and Bock takes a spike piledriver for the DQ. This would be an EXTRA assuming this isn't available in full somewhere else.

This was the Vegas rematch after the draw. It should be available in full on the 1987 TV discs.

? = Soldat Ustinov. This was the finals of an Easter Sunday tag tournament, winner to get a shot at the Rockers for the title. The Russians would later hold the tag titles for a few months.

They also did a similar angle several months earlier that ended up with Curt and Greg apologizing to each other. In that one, Hennig "accidentally" hit Gagne during a tag bout. I think they were going to turn Hennig the first time but changed their minds. The one where Curt actually turned is only a few weeks before the Super Clash II title change.

Pretty sure this will be available in full or near-full elsewhere. this was Bockwinkel's last televised AWA match as he left the federation the week after and this angle was how they wrote him out. He went to Japan for a tour and basically went into retirement from active wrestling after that. The date on this bout is August 1st, 1987.
