Fantastics v. Paul Lee/Tommy Angel

Actually there were some really cool spots in this. Fultons are not the real Fantastics but they were a solid enough tag team. Paul Lee is always fun for some silly schtick and big bumps. Leapfrog into a sleeper of all things was a cool finish.

Highlights of Garvin v. Orndorff from last week

Ron Garvin promo he is giving a pretty decent promo about being a weekend warrior and not wanting to wrestle full time. Orndorff comes out and freaks out.

Clips of Brian Lee being attacked by the unnamed man.

Brian Lee promo with Bob Armstrong.

Rock N Roll Express promo

Killer Kyle v. Tommy Angel

This was a pretty decent competitive squash. Killer Kyle's new finisher being a wastelock was fucking hilarious. Dixie Dynomite runs out to break up the post-match attack.

Ron Wright/DWB promo. DWB draws a title contender out of a hat and it turns out to be Danny Davis.

Heavenly Bodies/Jim Cornette face off in a contract signing with The Fantastics. Armstrong is mediating and demands cash for the Bodies to get a title shot. Cornette's racket is banned. EXTRa

Danny Davis v. Dirty White Boy

DWB runs and ducks out of the ropes and Davis grabs his hair which was pretty great and something I've never really seen before. Davis reals off some quick babyface "flashy" offense and Anthony ducks out to the floor. Hey a knuckle lock into a monkey flip spot! And Davis takes a leaping bump off a kick, but then hits a nice sunset flip. Nice neckbreaker from Davis for a nearfall. God damnit Davis loses off a one shot foreign object. Fuck this was pretty good but the finish was just too abrupt. Horner runs to the ring to challenge him post-match.

Studd Stable v. Rock N Roll Express

Studd Stable in panic mode after the R n R start off strong. Some fun stuff early with double teams and Golden being pissed off. Morton takes a knee to the back from Fuller and collapses in a heap. Fuller with a nice butterfly suplex. God Morton just runs through the big boot double team. Holy fuck Morton takes an insane over the top rope bump in this. I mean literally one of the craziest looking over the top bumps I can remember seeing when you consider he was landing on a hardwood basketball court floor. Robert gets the hot tag and this turns into a melee of sorts. Ref calls for a DQ. Morton was great in this, but this was only about six minutes and the finish would need to be better for me to endorse it.

Heavenly Bodies v. Fantastics (No DQ)

Bobby Fulton has a good right hand. Really fun sequence with Fulton skinning the cat, Lane skinning the cat, and then Fulton punching him in the face and knocking him back to the floor. Lane is bleeding from the mouth probably from one of those stiff as fuck Fulton punches. Pritchard takes a huge bump over the top and Bobby drills him with one of the title belts. Now he's got a steel bar and he hits Lane with it. Interesting to see the babyfaces so intent on being the first to break the rules. Jackie hits a nice gutwrench suplex for a nearfall. Fun spot as Bobby holds Tom still and they do a diving sunset flip from Jackie for a nearfall. Really good rope running spot with Pritchard and Jackie leading to a nice dropkick. Bobby hits a nice spinning wheel kick for a nearfall. Bobby finally gets isolated and Cornette and Pritchard work him over, posting his balls. Bobby getting up shortly after this and hitting a bulldog and tagging out was sort of strange but Lane and Prtichard blatantly using a chain and beating the shit out of Jackie with it sort of made up for it. Bobby has enough and runs to go get a chair but the ref holds him off as the Bodies/Cornette continue to choke Jackie with the chain. Jackie gets chunked over the top and Stan Lane runs over and grabs a fucking sandbag and drops it on Jackie's back which came across a lot cooler on tv than it sounds on paper. Bobby comes in and gets some licks in but Jackie is still by himself and Lane pulls something out of his headgear to use as a weapon while Dutch calls the Fantastics "mentally retarded" on commentary. Jackie gets the hot tag after whacking Lane in his busted ear drum. Pritchard and Jackie get into a punching battle on the floor while Bobby is working a spinning toehold. Good ref bump as Bobby bumps into Jackie who essentially dives on to the ref on the floor. Lane punches Bobby Fulton with a foreign object for a nearfall. Bobby Fulton locks on a sleeper coming off the ropes and the ref gets bumped again. Cornette busts out an ether soaked rag, which he actually soaks in ether on camera! He knocks out Bobby with it and the ref counts the fall for the Bodies as Pritchard holds Jackie at bay on the floor. This is EASILY the best tv match I've seen so far and maybe the best match I've seen between these teams period.

Heavenly Bodies/Jim Cornette promo. Cornette claims the ether was disinfectent he sprayed to clean Fulton's wounds. Corny and Lane claim that the Fantastics are alcoholics/drunks. Cornette literally rolls around in the money during all of this. EXTRA

Paul Orndorff promo

Finish of Lee/DWB Texas Death match with the unnamed man running in and attacking Lee again.

Studd Stable v. Batten Twins

Golden hits a nice belly to back. This is kind of a non-match as it was really short though both teams looked pretty decent.
