Also a nice looking fireman's carry early and a cool flailing bump through the ropes by Larry which is a staple of his. Ninja tries to distract Curt but he catches Larry coming at him and waffles him with some shots. Curt ends up working a headlock. The transition out of it is pretty great as they do a super fast double drop down spot and Curt goes to latch it back on but Larry counters with a back suplex. Hennig ends up immediately coming back with some big shots but Larry pulls him down and out to the floor. Good slugfest spot on the floor for the DCO which is too bad as this was just heating up. Little Tokyo/Lord Littlebrook v. Cowboy Lang/Little Mr. T JIP. The camera work in this is just terrible and kills the match. They work pretty hard and do some cool stuff but they keep panning to the crowd, panning back from the action, or cutting away from any good angle. Greg Gagne v. Larry Zbyszko This is the angle with Larry destroying Bock and Gagne with his knumchucks(sp?) Verne Gagne v. Sheik Adnan Al-Kaissie (Cage Match) Adnan gets attacked and bloodied before he gets to the ring. Gagne has to strip him to his ring gear once they get to the cage. Gagne wins very quickly after a small package and beats Adnan post-match. Waste of a Cage. Doug Somers v. Scott Hall This was kind of disappointing. It was well structured and fairly well laid out but nothing in this really seemed all that interesting other than the huge back body drop Somers took. Too bad. King Kong Brody v. Jerry Blackwell Not a match. Brody destroys Blackwell with a chair until the ring gets cleared by babyfaces. Boris Zhukov v. Jerry Blackwell Blackwell dominates early and hits a nice dropkick. Zhukov ends up coming back but Zhukov on offense is not what you really want to see. I did dig his forearm/eyerake thingy. Blackwell's comeback strikes were cool and his suplex was stiff looking. Blackwell's missed Avalanche look sit and set up a nice finish with Zhukov missing a knee off the top and then a big splash. Pretty good but nothing special. Curt Hennig v. Nick Bockwinkel This is the sixty minute draw which is already nominated and of course a stone cold lock for the set.
