Bock eventually gets on an early sleeper but Brunzell is able to escape. Bock ends up missing a corner charge and Brunzell goes to work on the arm and then there is a big clip as Brunzell is now working the leg and there is a scroll on the bottom talking about the match being edited for length. Brunzell ends up getting kicked to the floor on a spinning toehold attempt. Brunzell however blocks Bock's attempt to hold him at bay on the floor and goes back to work on the leg. I am not necessarily against 60 minute draws but man this dragged even as a clipped bout. It's odd because Bock is a guy who can work a bulky control segment, but he really doesn't get one in here and there are bit parts of this that are fatigue selling, your turn/my turnish, et. I really had trouble getting through this and it is only HALF of the match. I cannot imagine making it through the whole thing. Maybe it's better in full but I think it's telling that even the live crowd comes off subdued here. Bob Brown promo Buddy Roberts v. Baron Von Raschke Interesting match up. Buddy seems like he would be a good fit to carry the Baron and they do some decent stuff early but Baron is such a slow motion, awkward dude you don't really see a quality match. Buck Zumhoffe You almost feel bad for Robinson has he has to sell befuddlement at Zumhoffe's relatively elementary offense. Not that any of it was bad per se, it just felt "beneath" him in a way. Robinson takes over with some stiff forearms and hits his sick neckbreaker. Anyway Buck takes back over and this goes far too long with Billy not getting nearly enough of this though he wins. Maybe it's better in full but I think it's telling that even the live crowd comes off subdued here. Doesn't exist in full. This is the whole thing...opening few minutes, cut out the next 25-30 minutes, rest of the bout aas I recall. Runs about 35 minutes total as I remember.
