Baron Von Raschke We have this on another Winnipeg disc Nick Bockwinkel v. Crusher Crusher's offense just looked pathetic here and watching him run the ropes was amusing. Crusher ends up missing a punch in the corner and Bock works over his fist. I actually liked Bock's hand work and I dug the fact that Crusher came back with jabs and tried to throw a right but ended up selling his hand and Bock was immediately able to take control again. Crusher ends up stomping on Bock's hands, but again hurt his hand when he tries to use it. Crusher ends up getting his hand stomped on the table right in front of Okerland. Bock ends up getting pulled out and battered around ringside and Crusher to his credit is still selling his hand. Crusher comes back after getting pissed off at Heenan interference. Lame DQ for Crusher bumping Bock into the ringpost. I would back this as a possible EXTRA because Crusher/Bock seems like something that would be interesting to some people. EXTRA Larry Zbyszko v. Rick Martel We already have this. I watched this again and liked it a hair more on second viewing but can't see it making the set. Jerry Blackwell v. Dino Bravo Bravo being a guy who takes down the strong man with cross bodys and dropkicks amuses me greatly. Strange spot as Bravo goes for a knee on a corner charge and ends up with both guys falling over the top. They go into an dropkick/armdrag sequence and I realize I have seen this before as his match is on Blackwell 1 though not in full. Decent enough but needlessly long. Crusher/Baron Von Raschke v. King Kong Brody/Abdullah The Butcher Just a wild brawl with the faces being buried. This was JIP but I can't tell how much was missed. I'm sure this was done to put over the heels as tough, but watching Baron job so easily did not seem right. Finish of Bockwinkel v. Gagne with Verne being screwed by Heenan interference and Blackburn overturning the finish. Boris Zhukov v. Rick Martel This is already nominated from a previous disc. Bobby Duncum v. Billy Robinson JIP. Robinson is really great in this. He hits an awesome neck breaker on a hope spot and then pivits the leg to take down Duncum but ends up whacking his head on the ropes when he goes to extend the leg. Robinson ends up doing a great job setting up and building to a backslide and hits his nice backbreaker variation. Billy also sells the fuck out of Duncum's offense. At one point Robinson fights back by throwing body shots which I thought was a cool touch. Robinson's fired up Euro uppercuts and dropkicks were really well done. Duncum ends up back dropping Billy over the top for the DQ. What was shown was really good, but this was less than half the match. Jimmy Garvin v. Buck Zumhoffe About twenty seconds of this are on the dvd. Sheik Adnan Al-Kaissie v. Greg Gagne Adnan attacks Greg before the bell. Gagne comes back but Adnan uses the cast to fire back and work over Greg's arm. Adnan locks on an ab stretch which Greg is able to escape but Adnan takes right back over with the cast. I really liked that when Gagne did take over he locked on his Indian Deathlock which is really a great looking move. Adnan manages to break the hold with the help of the cast and throws Greg to the floor. Gagne ends up winning with a sunset flip. No one is going to mistake this for a great match but I thought it was fairly well worked.

EXTRA There is another JIP Crusher-Bock match from St. Paul from 1/13/80 you may like better as an extra. You'll see it eventually and you can decide then. Finish of Bockwinkel v. Gagne with Verne being screwed by Heenan interference and Blackburn overturning the finish. This is the conclusion of Verne's Winnipeg retirement match, from 4/81. That last little bit is the only part that has ever been made available.
