March 11, 201114 yr Author comment_5466930 Not quite sure who Mr. Tennessee is, but he's wearing a red mask and he's upset about something involving The Bullet. They cut to a taped promo sent in from SMW of Jim Cornette and the Bodies. Cornette says the favorite dinner of someone from Alabama is whatever is too slow crossing the highway. He adds that he knows The Bullet is Bob Armstrong, and that something fishy is going on. Cornette says he's sending Mr. Tennessee to USA Wrestling to get to the bottom of this. Cool find.
October 22, 201311 yr comment_5568477 My burning question from the previous segment is answered--the Russian Warhead is Boris Zhukov. That's a letdown. Mr. Tennessee rants about showing some videotape, as we awkwardly and slowly transfer to an interview with Cornette and the Heavenly Bodies. They're coming after the Bullet. Listening to Mr. Tennessee I'd swear it was Brian Christopher, but apparently he's none other than WCW jobber Larry Santo.
January 23, 201411 yr comment_5581644 Mr. Tennessee intros a promo from the Bodies & Cornette talking about USA Wrestling, saying he'll send Mr. Tennessee to USA Wrestling to take care of Bob Armstrong. Nothing special.
December 14, 201410 yr comment_5645104 Bullet vs. Cornette is a great running feud that is bleeding over into other promotions. Effective stuff.
June 10, 20169 yr comment_5756730 Actually, this may be the first instance of an actual in-ring feud between Bullet Bob and Corny being promoted. Unfortunately, this outfit looks way too minor league to know what to do with a feud like this. I could barely understand Mr. Tennessee, and to find out that he was some WCW jobber disappoints me. Actually, he sounded a bit like Tommy Rich, which would have been a hell of a lot more interesting. They actually cut this promo off midway through, as Corny was saying "And then, guys........" I have no idea why they did that, unless Corny was saying something about the Bodies actually coming to USA Wrestling and the powers that were didn't want to advertise something that they may not have been able to deliver (and as far as I know, didn't deliver). A search turns up the fact that this outfit was actually the last gasp of what had been Continental. After a few months, they said that Jerry Jarrett had purchased the promotion and folded it into the USWA, but Papa claimed on Wrestling Classics not to remember this and said that they had no interest in promoting in Alabama and the Gulf Coast.
