Baseball Prospectus Odds Report

About a third of the way through the season now. Baseball Prospectus does a continually updated computer simulation, running a million sims to come up with odds for the rest of the season. Here are the odds for each team for making the Playoffs. I simplified these whenever possible.

That 5:2 line has to be encouraging for Cubs fans. The Padres are the most likely team to reach the playoffs at this point, while the Royals are the least likely. If you have Vegas connections, look into betting the Twins, who are division favorites despite trailing the White Sox at the moment.
