March 17, 201114 yr Author comment_5467498 You can tell CMLL is hurting based on all the empty seats in the first few rows. Really nice high-flying match that honestly felt a little short for what they were doing. This felt like the first two falls of a great match that ended too soon to hit that level.
February 12, 201312 yr comment_5534906 Terrific start with the tecnicos shining bright. Lovely flow to the moves and highly enjoyable action. Had it stayed like that it could've been something special but the rudos were a bit muddled on offence. The new Piratita wasn't a patch on the old one. They still had a nice surprise finish and it was good stuff overall.
July 15, 201312 yr comment_5552054 Felinito might have the lowest tolerance of pain as he gives up to a comical submission. Stereo moves looked good by the technicos. Too short in the end.
November 6, 201311 yr comment_5570900 This is either one tiny ring or four very big minis. Lots of showy high-flying with some true how-in-the-fuck takedowns from Ramirez--like that backwards springboard into a headscissors. Dragon performs the most ridiculous submission ever to get Felinito to end the first fall--he basically taps him out by making Felinito give him a horsey ride. The technicos take this in two straight, as they hit two amazing dives to get the countout. Very fun stuff but not nearly as good as the minis trios match with Sagrada and Espectrito and friends the previous year.
December 15, 201410 yr comment_5645500 These are very, very big minis. Nice sequence of choreographed spots in the second fall as well as a couple cool dives that result in a countout with the faces taking two straight falls. Would like to see that in more big matches. Nothing about this was particularly great but they did enough to keep it fun and it was different from the rest of the set. **3/4
February 9, 201510 yr comment_5653602 Another showcase type match and again too short to be anything really meaningful. The mini's can really go when allowed the chance but I am as impressed with their great matwork moreso than their dives at times and the matwork went by the wayside for the majority of the time here. ***
July 7, 20169 yr comment_5758831 It's just a thrill for me to see midgets doing more than comedy spots, so I rate this a little higher than the rest of you. The match-ending dive train was better here than in some heavyweight matches. On the downside, the rudo team seemed to run out of spots midway through the second fall; it seemed like they were just waiting for the time when they could go home. I didn't see the submission of Felincito; I thought the fall was over when Ramirez pinned Morgan. I don't know if I could take a full set of these matches, but they're fine for an occasional diversion.
