I loved when Sato tried to do the running up the ropes into an armdrag but botches the climbing portion. He still hits the armdrag and then scuffs the mat with his foot like the problem was with his boots. The arm wringer spot always gets a good laugh out of me. I didn’t realize it was a Southern spot though. Fun stuff.

Sato = Dick Togo, if I'm interpreting wrestlingdata correctly. The unmistakable rear end is there, at least.

I liked the singles match a bit better than this--stakes were higher and there was a little more substance to it. But this was a fun blend of flying, mat wrestling, and comedy. The sequence where the guys seemingly forget who their partners are, leading to Naniwa and Sasuke about to do a rowboat even though they're on opposite sides before they realize what's going on, was pretty inventive.

I can't really judge this one fairly because I've never seen Michinoku Pro before. That said, the bout kept my interest, which doesn't always happen first time I see a new promotion or style. All four guys obviously know what they're doing, and both teams exhibited fine continuity and teamwork. I enjoyed the armwringer spot (as I always do), but the rowboat spot confused me.

I'm honestly not quite sure who was who, but as I said, it really didn't matter, and I'm sure I'll pick up on these guys as I watch more of the promotion. I'm already looking forward to the Sasuke-Delphin singles bout.
