January 19, 201411 yr comment_5580932 Fun commercial with Yokozuna as Godzilla in Japan. I always hear the Unbelievable in Vince McMahon voice. A year later they would use a similar set up for Bundy's return to WWF.
January 22, 20178 yr comment_5784679 This was pretty creative. There was a natural tie-in, what with Yoko supposedly being Japanese, and they used it well. At least it didn't insult anyone (except maybe Charles Barkley). I like the "Unbelievable!" tag line, but it's too easy a joke for those who want to trash the business. They should have gone with Vince's other pet phrase from around this time, "Anything can happen in the WWF".
May 21, 20178 yr comment_5801123 Weird tone against most of the other stuff in WWF land around this time. The comparison of Godzilla and YOkozuna is a natural one to the WWF braintrust.
