The best match between those two teams, and probably the best match of the Nasties since they came back to WCW. Missy is really trashy looking, and fit right there with the Nasties. Really good work from Bagwell and Scorp to carry the two big loads.

I like Missy with short hair. She actually gets a double noggin knocker, but while that's going on and Scorpio's hitting the 450, Sags whacks 2 Cold with his boot and the Nasties get the belts back. Two good performances in a row from Bagwell/Scorp, who deserved better than glorified JTTS status.

Just saw this match for the first time and enjoyed it a good bit. It is a straightforward story, but it just goes to show that simple doesn't always mean "average." The crowd is very into it from the get-go, breaking out into a huge "Whoop! There it is!" chant when Bagwell plants a kiss on Missy Hyatt, and while you would think they would die down as the match moves on, the story told in the ring keeps them engaged and there are some noticeable pops at other times. Aside from some small slips, everyone involved brings their A-game, though, it would've been nice to see more of Scorpio's offense. All in all, the good outweighs the bad by a hefty margin. I'm not through the whole thing yet, but Halloween Havoc 93' is a really fun show so far (if you ignore the opening match).

Well, so much for the new champions. There was no point to giving Buff and Scorp the belts if they were going to lose them so quckly. Maybe back in the days when wrestlers worked a loop and there was only one hour of TV a week per territory a change like that would have done something, but not now. If they wanted to hotshot the belts, they should have done it on the house show circuit and promoted the changes on TV after the fact so that the fans would know that they could be missing something if they don't go the live cards in their area.

With so much else going on, I missed the double noggin knocker Missy got; they showed the bump she took to the floor on replay. but not the actual move. Kudos to her for actually agreeing to get physically involved even briefly. She's come a long way from the days when she could barely throw a decent slap. I'm not sure what Jesse found funny about the whole thing; he should have been getting on Buff for abusing a female manager.

Scorp's offense looked amazing. Why wasn't he pushed higher? He was more athletic than a good ninety percent of the roster at this time, and that's an extremely conservative estimate.
