March 17, 20169 yr comment_5733969 This week it’s ‘makeup’ and we’ll be amazed at how Tammy can make Margie into an acceptable human being, as if she can do it for her, there is hope for everyone at home too! First, before we get into any makeup tips we have to start with something that most people have never done before, and that’s wash your face. Tammy would normally use a gentle moisturizing cleanser, but in this case she’s going to use soap and some old fashioned scrubbing. Tammy is rather impressed with Margie’s ability to wash her face, but then clocks that she hasn’t shaved today! She advises all the girls that have a problem with beards like Margie that they need to use a lot of base makeup. Margie starts to apply it but Tammy thinks that they will need an economy sized tub instead and that Margie will also need a bit of practice at this! Fytch again at times seems as though she’s trying to stop herself laughing for real here.
February 11, 20178 yr comment_5788028 This was the weakest of all the Tammy's Tips segments, but after what happened with Ron last week I don't think these are cute anymore. Tammy's moved up to the next level of heel, and should be doing more serious stuff related to actual angles. These have served their purpose and generated some nice laughs, but it's time to move on for all concerned. One thing that was still amusing was Margie's deadpan stare. No wonder Tammy appeared to get the giggles; she could have told Margie to wash her face, run for President or jump out the window and Margie's expression would have never changed. I would rate these above the Andy Kaufman and Boy Tony stuff from Memphis, mostly because Tammy knew enough to play it straight instead of sneering her way through the whole thing. She also worked well with Margie, while Kaufman and Falk were by themselves and treated their segments as just another kind of promo.
May 27, 20178 yr comment_5802146 I agree this was the weakest so far as Margie didn't do anything physical which has really sold the skits. This one does end abruptly as well.
