The reason I'd recommend pulling them is that they're all CHVs that I own and, in the case of most of them, I've already put them on DVD.

 

 

The only ones I haven't put on DVD yet are Summerslam 1990, Grudges Gripes and Grunts, Hottest Matches, and Rampage 1997.

 

Grudges and Hottest Matches are ones that I could do this weekend if I sit down for long enough.

 

I'm not sure that Summerslam 1990 will burn (copy protection issues) and I'm putting off Rampage 1997 because HIAC is the only good match on the card and it's available elsewhere.

Also, teke, when the time comes, any tape you have burning issues with (if you are comfortable with the idea), you can send to me at a later date. I have the capability to get around that by using my computer. I thought that the picture was inferior but when Tim Cooke checked a disc that was done both ways, he said that he couldn't tell the difference.

Summerslam '90 should copy with no issues. I never had problems with any WWF videos not from 1987, 1988, and early 1989.

 

As for the three MIA titles, the Macho Man video I owned at one point, but now remember selling because of how much it was fetching on eBay. I mistakenly thought I had another one around here. The Most Unusual Matches video didn't have an original box, so it's possible that it's still around here with the rest of my record VHS. And for what it's worth, I can track down another master of Best of the WWF Vol. 10, since they don't go for that much on eBay.

It's not bad video effects that I'm referring to...

 

 

My particular standalone DVD burner refuses to burn copies of many WWF tapes circa 1987-1989, giving me a message about protected material that it can't record.

 

Since I'm not set up for a direct VCR-to-computer video capture at the moment, it holds up some of my transferring and, in addition, pisses me off because I REALLY want to burn my copy of Survivor Series 1987 to a DVD.

Send it in the next package and we'll see if you like the final product. If happy with it, I'll transfer the rest for you.

 

Also, I wasn't saying that you had a problem with the VQ. I knew what you meant. I was having issues on my end with the VQ of going from VHS to computer to DVD. However, Tim told me the difference was minimal.

I don't own any of those and my local Blockbuster dumped 99% of their VHS tapes, including WWF stuff, so I don't have access to the ones that used to be there (Bashed In The USA, the Rampage tapes, etc.)

Well, that is 31 tapes right there and I can def. get them finished in two batches before the school starts again. I have 2 1/2 weeks of free time and 3 1/2 weeks before the kids come back.

And let me emphasize again, "HOLY FUCK, I need to get my burning in order", as this means I need to get into "the zone" that will let me burn masters of about 20 shoots with as little down-time as possible.

 

 

I'm going to be struggling to keep up with the CURRENT 50-disc order, so we may need to put off on the trade for these CHV DVDs back a few weeks.
