January 19, 200619 yr comment_4345749 Whoo Kid needs throat cancer like Beyonce needs better beats than that fucking Pink Panther bullshit. "That fucking Pink Panther bullshit" is by Swizz Beats, by the way.

January 20, 200619 yr comment_4347783 But on the bright side, you know Jim Jones has NEVER ducked beef, in fact, likes to INITITATE IT (Nas, Mase, etc.). He is to Cam what Yayo is to 50. Even though he can't rhyme his way out of a paper bag, it'll make for some really humorous songs. Let's not forget our dear HFGO-starter FREAKY ZEEKY. He's supposed to get out soon so that's just more entertainment. I guess this means no more collabs between Cam & Kanye like "Down & Out" or "Dipset Forever".
January 21, 200619 yr comment_4353761 The more I listen to You Gotta Love It, the weaker Cam's case looks. Him having a free reign feel to the diss hurts it. Obviously he's not trying to market it as a tidy single, but at nearly eight minutes, it's such a mish-mash of ideas, but none of them are all that strong. As per the usual, the production's hot and Cam does get some good shots in (the '80s baby line and the Fraggle Rock comparison, for example), but it seems weaker with each listen. The other diss track, while not really a song, is more effective, since it's not just Cam's accusations and pointless jabs at Jay's age under the limelight. I didn't realize Jay had lifted as many lines as he did. Hip-hop's one of those genres that heavily favors lifting bits and pieces of this and that, whether it be a line from another track or music from another song, this one makes Jay look like he took some excessive liberties with this.
January 21, 200619 yr comment_4357033 The sad fact is that's not even HALF of the lines/phrases that Jay has lifted over the years. Anyhow... Susie Suh - Susie Suh... probably my favorite album of 2005.
January 21, 200619 yr Author comment_4357082 Lil' Kim featuring Notorious B.I.G. ~ "Drugs" (instrumental) It's Prince Nana's theme song in Ring of Honor. It inspired the current avatar/user title combination. I'm also going to the ROH show in Dayton, OH next Friday. Second row.

January 27, 200619 yr comment_4397503 Maroon 5 - "She Will Be Loved" from their 1.22.03 album. Oh, yes.
January 28, 200619 yr comment_4400692 I don't know if I've ever seen a group milk one album as much as these idiots have. Not that I want another album from them. I figured they'd be gone by now.
January 28, 200619 yr comment_4403523 Android Lust - "Stained" Female fronted band out of New York (on Projekt Records) using elements of rock, industrial, and gothic. I found out about them at http://music.download.com (also where I found out about Unfinished Thought, Abney Park, and most of the other gothic bands I've fallen in love with).

I figured they'd be gone by now.Well, to be honest they're not that bad at all. I wasn't a fan of theirs until my best friend forced me to listen into their entire album.

Or at best, they're incredibly bland and only have a following because their lead singer is eye candy and they play the style of music that mainstream Top 40 radio gobels up.
January 31, 200619 yr comment_4420475 Debra Arlyn - "Let It Go" off GarageBand.com Insanely awesome (definitely a radio hit feel to it). Comparable to: Alicia Keyes
January 31, 200619 yr Author comment_4420646 Erykah Badu ~ "I Want You" I like this song but it's forever long. Her performance on Chappelle's Show was good too.
February 1, 200619 yr comment_4426325 Sarah McLachlan - "I Will Remember You" Heard it in Andie's last episode in Dawson's Creek and been playing it ever since for the most part.

February 7, 200619 yr comment_4463827 DMX is back with Swizz Beats. "We In Here." Not to mention Busta has crazy official remixes of "Touch It" it seems. One with DMX and another with Lloyd Banks & Papoose. And check out 50's "Not Rich, Still Lyin'" diss of Game.
February 9, 200619 yr Author comment_4476364 I just got a video iPod (30 GB). It took a couple of hours to copy over all of my songs...which was a little less than seven gigs. Um, I have twenty-three free gigs of space...and I'm not real high on watching movies and shit on a four inch screen. How the hell am I supposed to even come close to filling all of that space? My harddrive in my PC is only forty gigs! The iPod was a gift, however I would've been more than content with like a six gig song only iPod. Guess I can't look a gift horse in the mouth. Anyway, I've been listening to a lot of Tom Waits. I "obtained" his discography and I really like it. He has like two different sounds to me. He has the lounge singer "I'm so drunk" kinda slurred speech songs then he has the creepy songs with weird sound effects and shit you'd hear in horror movie songs. It's a weird mix but I can dig it. Very hard to sleep to his songs though when some graveyard zombie murder shit comes on. Current song: Tom Waits ~ "Alice" I can dig.
