May 31, 200619 yr comment_5011146 There have been some BANGERS coming out lately as far as I'm concerned. --It's a Problem, DJ Khaled's collabo with Jadakiss and Beanie Siegel? FIYAH. --Yah Mean with Method Man, Styles P, and Fat Joe? Insane. (Brings me back to the Fat Joe in his early days) --Been Through the Storm by Busta Rhymes featuring STEVIE WONDER? Call an ambulance, I'm about to faint. *screams* STEVIE I LOVE YOU!
June 5, 200619 yr comment_5027782 --It's a Problem, DJ Khaled's collabo with Jadakiss and Beanie Siegel? FIYAH. I heard this one on the radio about a month back (played right after Busta Rhymes, Papoose and Cassidy's "Psycho"). I think I've heard just about all of DJ Khaled aka Beat Novacaine's album, Listennn...The Album, already (like Kanye West, Consequence & John Legend's "Grammy Family", for example). This was hot when I first heard it, though. The hook was so money because it was so on-point at the time and nobody expected these two dudes, who had a lil beef back a few years ago, to do a joint together. I like Jada's "I'm gettin' wireless head" (that means with no hands) line. Looks like someone finally brought ohthatvixen into the New Millennium where it concerns music. Right now, I'm just bumpin' a lot of mixtape heat. Lloyd Banks been dropping crazy freestyles for everyone since his Rotten Apple album is about to drop (Cake, 70 Bars and the purported first single, produced by Timbaland, My House). I've got no less than three DJ Drama: Gangsta Grillz Special Editions -- Young Jeezy's "Can't Ban The Snowman", Pharrell's "In My Mind: The Prequel" and Lil' Wayne's "Dedication 2." If you ain't got those, you doin' bad. Some random dude on MySpace (after hearing "Come Go With Me" on my page) emailed me and sent me a link to "We Got The Remix" Clipse joint if anyone is interested. You know how to find me.

June 17, 200619 yr comment_5079147 Our hip-hop station tried to play Deja Vu the other day, billing it as a world premiere. At first, the DJ called it by the name of the new Chamillionaire single and actually began to play it before cutting it off. Take two didn't go well, either, as there was a technical issue and the DJ had to play the CD instead. And then the CD stopped. He claimed it was Satan trying to keep us from hearing new music.
June 17, 200619 yr comment_5079365 If you bothered to click the link to that Cassie video you'd see she looks like Ciara, Teairra Mari and Rhianna somehow combined their DNA to produce a lovechild and sent it back in time to be in Janet Jackson's "Pleasure Principal" video. 20 years later and there's still no substitute for the original.
July 13, 200619 yr comment_5194574 ...good lord. It's like your taste in chick music has de-evolved over time. What happened to Fiona Apple? I've been on a prog/symphonic kick lately, so I've been switching out Adrian Belew's Side One and some Gustav Holst lately. If you gave me a dollar for every science fiction movie composer that ripped off the Mars movement from The Planets...well, you know the rest.

October 31, 200618 yr comment_5413898 I'm listening to Amerie (One Thing) mixtape, "Because I Love It Vol. 1" She sings over various hip-hop beats and I tried to provide a link for you guys to DL it but every place that had it up this weekend has taken it down. Her actual album drops March 07.
