Nick Bockwinkel v. Ric Flair

We have this already.

Bruiser Brody v. Jerry Blackwell

This is the angle with Gagne making the save. We have it already.

Sgt. Slaughter v. Stan Hansen

On paper this looked incredible but this was probably the most disappointing match so far. I don't think you could call this a bad match really, but wit these two guys there are a few things you expect out of a match and this match doesn't deliver either in quite the way you would hope. They work fairly stiff early but there are no real earth shattering shots. Hansen ends up taking over on the arm but the work really isn't very spirited or tight looking and you get the feeling Hansen is just doing it to kill clock. Sarge does take a nice corner charge bump to this hurt shoulder on a hope spot but it's not nearly as good a bump as you would hope from Sarge. They blow a leapfrog pretty bad though the recovery is good enough. Sarge does get some nice nearfalls and Sarge does take a pretty crazy bump when he misses the running clothesline, but this has a crap ending and ultimately I can't see this making the set.

Shawn Michaels v. Doug Somers

Somers just kicking Shawn in the gut after a criss cross was awesome. Nice gutwrench suplex from Somers. Michaels hits a dropkick after a leapfrog. Somers took a big corner charge bump. Somers took a nice back body drop bump and then Shawn hit a big splash for the finish. This is way too short to nominate but was a fun tv match.

Midnight Rockers v. Buddy Rose/Doug Somers

We already have this.

Leon White v. Stan Hansen

White cartwheeling over a drop down from Hansen has to be one of the most unlikely things ever to happen in a wrestling match. White working a headlock as a base is interesting and more entertaining than you might think. They come up for some decent spots and Hansen is fairly giving though this is nothing that will blow you away. Hansen comes back with arm work that looks pretty stiff and White sells well. Hansen stomping and chopping White's hand in particular looked nasty. Hansen runs him outside and whips the arm into everything he can find while White fights back with chops and nasty looking punches. They get back in the ring and White runs off a string of offense and nearfalls with Hansen barely breaking the count. White misses an avalanche and takes a quick lariat for the pin. This got better as it went along and the last couple of minutes were really great. Certainly good enough to think about for the set but it's hardly one of the best things I've watched.
