Sierra stalls early and often and the fans hate his guts but he works over Savoldi early until Savoldi comes back with a dropkick before they brawl to the floor. They get in a slugfest on the floor for a double countout. The Renegade Warriors (Chris & Mark Youngblood) vs. Tony Colon & Mexican Angel (December 1986) Squash. Next we get a Stan Hansen vs. Josh Stroud squash from a JCP TV taping in 1984. Chicky Starr & "Rambo" Ron Starr vs. Carlos Ocasio & Junior Velez (December 1986) Easy win for the rudos. "Mr. USA" Tony Atlas vs. Frankie "The Thumper" Lancaster (December 1986) Lancaster gets squashed here. The next show starts with a workout video of various WWC tecnicos. Then we get promos for the Universal title tournament with the highlight being Terry Funk with his head inside of a guillotine. Next is a Rick Martel/Sheik Ali match from International TV in Montreal. Then we get more workout footage and a Barry Windham promo followed up by a Giant Baba video. Flair then sends in a taped promo about his return to WWC. Then we get a Chicky Starr's Sport Shop with the RPM's who tell Chicky they want their titles back but Chicky is telling the fans en Espanol some different stuff which is funny. This leads to a verbal altercation. Next we get Carlos Colon vs. Ben Alexander from JCP TV taping in 1984.
June 30, 201312 yr comment_5549479 The second show is hype for Aniversario 86. I know they had some workout videos they taped in Coamo highlighting Miguelito, Invader and Carlos. The promos, interviews and Sports Shop segments building to Aniversario 86 should be considered for extras.
October 29, 201311 yr comment_5569513 "Jumping" Joe Savoldi vs. Fidel Sierra This might have been the greatest entrance in the history of wrestling. The crowd helps this a ton as they are molten and Sierra's stalling really milks it for all it's worth. I loved his big bumps off of the punches and the dropkick, and while his work in control was simple, it was effective. At one point Savoldi came up for a crossbody off the rope and Sierra got up from the fall livid and just crushed him which I also loved. Savoldi comes back with some varied strikes and creams Sierra with a second dropkick. Then there is a lame as fuck finish. Too bad. This was on it's way to being really good. There are lots of promos on this disc that look good including Chicky ranting with Jason The Terrible, Carlos Colon out by a barbed wire fence, the training video Kris mentions, the fucking AWESOME Funk with his head in a guillotine promo, the Flair promo and the RPMs in the flower shop. Damn near all of that could be an Extra. No other match on this is worth mentioning.
