Tammy Fytch vignette from her house. She introduces Brian Lee as her new hire. Lee gives a really great interview explaining his motivations. This is spliced in with clips of his issues with Smothers. Lee is in a speedo throughout which is disturbing.

Kyle attacks Smothers on the floor. Kyle ends up clotheslining the steel. Smothers hits a double axe for a nearfall but Kyle takes back over. Smothers ends up coming back and knocking Kyle to the floor. Kyle ends up coming back with a nice slingshot belly to back suplex. Smothers hits a nice jumping knee. Kyle comes back and locks on a chinlock. Smothers wins via a nice sunset flip counter.

Chris Candido promo. Tim Horner shows up and says he's heard enough about his fake title. Horner challenges him on the spot.

Some good back and fourth early. Candido takes over and throws some nice rights in the corner. Horner tries to win with a small package but Candido kicks out and takes back over. Horner blocks a superplex and drops him face first. Follows up with a really nice body press off the top. Sucker punch win for Candido

Jimmy Del Ray v. Steve Armstrong

 

Del Ray gets clotheslined over the top. Del Ray hits a floatover DDT. Del Ray hits a nice superkick. Del Ray gets in a nice diving legdrop and hits a good suplex. Armstrong comes back and hits a high crossbody but Cornette waffles the ref with a racket. Bodies fight with Armstrongs. Bruise Brothers show up and attack the Armstrongs. Bobby Blaze v. Mike Sampson

 

Lots of fun floatovers and escapes. Blaze misses a crossbody and Sampson takes over with a belly to back. Blaze hit a nice sunset flip hope spot and a small package for another. Blaze keeps trying to put together comebacks and Sampson keeps cutting him off. Blaze hits a russian legsweep and a flying dropkick for the pin. Fun opener.

Down and Dirty with Dutch interview segment with Tracy Smothers. Lee/Fytch show and confront Smothers. This comes to blows and Fytch sprays Smotehrs in the eye with her hair spray. EXTRA

 

Rock N Roll Express beat jobbers.

 

Rock N Roll Express v. Bruise Brothers

 

Impromptu match. Morton ends up going FIP after a clothesline and gets pitched to the floor where he is worked over by Cornette. Morton is great as always as an FIP and the size dichotomy between the teams actually helps cover for the fact that the Bruise Brothers are the Bruise Brothers. Heat section was about the perfect length and I dug Morton hitting his delayed rana after the hot tag. The Bruise Brothers switch spots behind the refs black after a double dropkick spot and they get a good nearfall after a clothesline on Gibson. Gibson runs the ropes and gets creamed int he back with a tennis racket shot for the title shot. This was by no means a great match but it was the most complete tv match in some time on SMW tv.

 

Corny/Bruise Brothers promo. Cornette says the Bruise Brothers will hand over the belts to the Bodies. The RnR's show up and attack the Bruise Brothers but the Bodies hit the ring. Disc craps out in the middle of this but I can see the Bullet making his return amidst the chaos with a baseball bat so this should be an EXTRA

Tammy showing her bikini is a definite extra because that was a big deal back when it aired.
