Owen took the first fall with a spectacular roll-up. Jones responded by upping the violence. They didn't flow perfectly, and as OJ mentioned, Jones had probably lost a few steps athletically. But every round featured something interesting. The match deserves to go on the set and not just because Owen is a name. Dalibir Singh vs. Bret Hart (12/19/81) - They somehow managed to clip the first two falls in favor of two early rounds full of pedestrian holds. Bret didn't do much of interest overall, but Singh looked decent when he moved from holds to brawling. Boring match. Steve Veidor vs. Al Hayes (11/8/75) - Kendo Nagasaki/Blondie Barrett vs. Robbie Brookside/Steve Regal (10/15/88) - The match apparently turned on Nagasaki's ability to hypnotize Brookside into turning against Regal. Yes, really. Barrett and Nagasaki wrestled as generic, brawling heels for most of the way. The match picked up briefly when Regal and Brookside rallied, but I wouldn't recommend it.
