Mark Rocco vs. Dynamite Kid (11/30/81) - The double knockout at the start of the fifth round pretty well killed this one in its tracks. They produced some nice, quick exchanges in the early rounds but it didn't amount to anything.

Marty Jones vs. Dynamite Kid (1/19/83) - Nasty match and a lot of fun. This was the Dynamite I like -- bumping around, throwing cheap shots and generally acting like the biggest prick in the world. I loved his blindside shot to Jones' ribs after Marty took the first fall with a quick roll-up. The headbutt exchanges also stood out. Easy pick for the set.

Marty Jones vs. Roy Regal (9/3/86) - This was nascent Regal, with a feathered haircut and a one-fall advantage to start because he ranked so far below Jones on the food chain. Too much of a squash by Jones to merit a place on the set.

Dave Finlay & Rocky Moran vs. Owen & Ross Hart (3/31/84) - I liked the structure of this, with the Irish roughing up Owen for the whole first fall only for the 18-year-old to take the second with a flash German suplex. I might have considered a nomination if the third fall had been more competitive. Finlay was the best guy in the match by far. Ross did almost nothing.

Mark Rocco vs. Dynamite Kid (11/18/81) - I'm not a huge fan of either guy, but this was a damn good sprint with both going a million miles an hour and hitting all their big stuff cleanly. If anything, it was almost too quick, without a whole lot of struggle building to each fall. Given the action and the names involved, it's still a no-brainer for the set.
