Pre-match Larry raises a fuss and refuses to wrestle if Scott Ledoux is the ref so Verne has to come out and agree to a new ref which has the fans livid. Bock just runs straight into the ring and beats the piss out of him, tosses him to the floor, post him, drops him on the concrete, et. Really a brilliant way to start the match as the crowd is rocking. Bock is just great here choking the fuck out of Larry and milking the crowd for everything they've got. Bock hits a huge leaping piledriver and Larry is awesome in just BARELY getting his foot on the bottom rope. Bock blatantly chokes Larry again and they end up doing a really good looking ref bump that sends the ref to the floor. Larry ends up crotching Bock on the top rope and stealing the win! This is short as hell but I feel like I have to nominate it as it was hate filled as hell and I actually thought the finish was amazingly well executed.

Larry refuses to wrestle if Scott LeDoux is the referee so Verne comes out to make the switch. This great feud delivers yet another fun brawl as Bock was on fire here and the fans were going apeshit over him. This is like their Vegas match as Bock is totally beating the hell out of Larry but this is actually more one-sided than that one. Larry is so good at selling and bumping that this is a showcase for those abilities. I loved the piledriver spot as Larry was so good at milking that bottom rope spot and the ref bump was well done also. Larry crotching Bock on the top rope showed his desperation and that was his only offensive move of the match but it made all the difference. I dug this a lot as it told a really good story and this moves forward easily.
