Kendo Nagasaki & George Gilette vs. Mick McManus & Steve Logan (7/31/76)

Kendo Nagasaki vs. Clive Myers (12/27/86) - Wacky ladder match with musical accompaniment and a gold record as the hanging prize. Myers produced some decent action and the sheer weirdness makes it a candidate for the extras.

Jackie Turpin vs. Jim Breaks (broadcast 7/31/82) - Turpin was apparently the nephew of boxer Randy Turpin, who fought Sugar Ray Robinson. The people seemed really into his quest to upset Breaks and earn a title shot. They spent much of the match battling over arm submissions, with each guy earning a fall that way. At the finish, Turpin took a showy bump to the floor off a missed dive but then popped back into the ring to surprise Breaks with a roll-up. The crowd and Breaks' schtick made this worth watching. I'm on the fence, but OJ might want to take a look given his appreciation of Breaks.

Mark Rocco vs. King Benn (7/15/81) - I enjoyed the opening two rounds, with Benn matching Rocco's pace and producing some nifty exchanges. But then they clipped the third round, and Rocco dominated the rest of the match in a one-note fashion. I'm still getting used to the WOS rhythm but I find it strange how uncontested some of the falls seem. Matches started out feeling competitive but then just petered out. Low-end nomination based on how much I liked the opening.

Mark Rocco vs. Chic Cullen (12/27/86) - Cullen was another guy who seemed quite capable of working Rocco's go-go pace. He threw some beautiful dropkicks. But this was another match where, once Rocco took over, his opponent never really fought back. I'm not sure what to do with matches like this, because my WOS antenna isn't well tuned yet. In the interest of casting a wide early net, I'll give this a low-end nomination.

Mark Rocco vs. Chris Adams (9/29/81) - Adams seemed a little out of rhythm with Rocco at the beginning, but that got better as the match went on. I liked the way they slowed down and worked a more rugged style in the later rounds. This is an easy choice for the set.
