Roadies were always enjoyable in this setting. Road Warriors promo Road Warriors v. Jimmy Garvin/Steve Regal yet another version of the screwjob title change. The exact same Sarge DVD we have elsewhere is next. Sgt. Slaughter v. Larry Zbyszko JIP. I wanted this to be better than it was. This mostly Larry keeping Sarge at bay and then a finish. Battle Royal JIP. Pretty hot finishing run with the Birds beating on Sarge and getting eliminated. Brad Rheingans v. Boris Zhukov JIP. Sarge saves Rheingans from a post-match attack. Sarge promo Sgt. Slaughter v. Chris Markoff/Boris Zhukov JIP. Maybe the most boring match I've ever seen. The Russians work one of the shittiest control segments of all time. There is nothing Sarge could have done. Sgt. Slaughter v. Larry Zbyszko Decent but too short and it had a dumb finish. This would have been a good opening to a long match for whatever that is worth. Larry Zbyszko vignette he breaks a coconut with knuncucks. Larry Zbyszko v. Greg Gagne This is the match where Larry ambushes Bock afterward. The entire Championships disc is next. Freebirds v. Curt Hennig/Greg Gagne What was shown was fairly good, but this was heavily clipped. Hennig continues to look dynamic. Roberts creamed Gagne on the finish. Might be worth a closer look if it pops up in full. Gagnes v. Mr. Saito/Nick Bockwinkel Finishing run only shown. Saito was super stiff with Verne. Road Warriors v. Jerry Blackwell/Sgt. Slaughter JIP. What's shown is pretty unimpressive. Clips of Garvin/Regal winning tag belts. Scott Hall/Curt Hennig v. Jimmy Garvin/Steve Regal JIP but I don't think much is lost. Regal was better than normal here and was well protected in the tag setting as he wasn't expected to do much other than take a couple of bumps and cut off Curt. Hennig's blade job added a good bit to the match. Still doesn't feel like something that would make the set.
