This is basically a handicap match because Smothers doesn't come out till the finish. We get some mike work with Corny/Storm and Mark Curtis to set up the bout. Jericho is in the hospital so Storm goes it alone. This is worked as a normal tag as Storm gets the shine and then sells and makes a hot tag. The Heavenly Bodies and Cornette were so awesome here making Storm credible. They bumped and stooged their asses off for Storm. Still Storm brought a ton of high energy and athleticism to the bout. Plus Storm didn't seem sloppy and hit most of his stuff, still I thought this had a lot to do with his opponents. I've liked Storm through the years and thought he brought a lot of tools to the game, but he sometimes did stuff that looked like shit. Eventually Storm gets cut off and the Bodies go to work over his neck and back. Storms FIP work was done well, plus the Bodies gave him plenty of hope spots to give the crowd hope. Soon Smothers comes out to be his partner and blows the roof off the place. He was awesome in his work on the outside. Plus it was great how they kept teasing Storms tag to him but kept getting cut off. Finally, he gets it and Smothers is a house of fire. Storm comes back in and hits one of the most beautiful flying bodypresses that I have seen. Corny's racket shot backfires and we get a pinfall. I thought this was well done and a solid nomination.

Lance Storm & Tracy Smothers beat The Heavenly Bodies (Pritchard & Del Rey)

- This was a fun match with Storm getting in a nice shin segment before the numbers game catches up with him. Bodies look good just beating the crap out of Storm, focusing on the back, Dr. Tom gives Storm a doctor bomb that looked nasty. When Smothers comes out, the crowd livens up and they still work a really nice FIP section building up to Smothers making the hot tag and leading to the hot finish. Nomination.
